This was my first e-bike that I recently purchased. I was waiting a very long time for one worth buying. Other than the geometry (+ folding capability), the battery size got me to hop on it quickly. After about 200km now on my trip meter, I'm pleasantly surprised with how it rides. Being a long time XC rider, this thing is serving it's purpose superbly as a touring / grocery getter for me. Only thing that kind of has me sideways about it is the charge time. I've yet to drain it completely, but I know it takes at least 5 hours to charge if you hit the halfway point. I've yet to drain it completely, but it's nice to not have rangr anxiety like when you're on a scooter.

Guys we did 32 miles on level 3 then turned around and did 32 miles on the return trip on level 4. Still had 2 out of 5 bars remaining when we got back to our destination. Then before turning off it jumped back to 3 bars. Just some real world numbers for anyone looking into getting these.

Well i pulled the trigger and bought this same exact bike, i looked at the reviews and seen the one that your wife i suppose put in there , she mentioned this yt video so i watched and you convinced me to buy it... Thank you..

Good to hear . . I did buy two. One for me and one for the wife. They're an amazing value and you won't be disappointed. All electric bikes are going to increase in price next month so it's a good thing you ordered.

@@EastCoastCurt I did an awful amount of research before buying, watched countless videos and reading reviews on Amazon, this one seems to check all of the boxes of the things I'm looking for, I mainly want it to travel locally and it comes with a back basket and since it folds up I'd like to keep it in the back of my crv as an emergency get home vehicle.... Btw does this bike have cruise control?... Some say it does and some say it doesn't, others don't mention it, however investigating the photos on the screen I see the same symbol my car has for cruise control..

Car advantages... 3 people can come with you... you have a secure trunk that keeps things out of sight... you stay dry in the rain... you have a great sound system... you have a place to sleep if you get locked out (LOL)... it has an alarm and can't be stolen easily... if you have a sweet ride it impresses the chicks... :D

No doubt. I'm a car enthusiast myself.But what about those who are unable to afford a car or they'd rather save money? I ride to work and get better parking everywhere I go. Further destinations or bad weather I do drive.

Wow thats a beefy battery on that bike. Debating on getting it especially seeing it for $900. I wonder if I was to change the motor to a 750W, how fast this bike will go?

It's definitely a 750w I've even raced it against my other 750w bikes and it's beaten them.

I believe it already comes with a 750w. Peaks out around 20amps which is 960w of power with the 48v battery.

Good ride man ! I'm about to order one and was wondering if this bike can handle light to moderate rain for those sunny days you go to work and rain comes at the end of the day ?

Yes rain is no problem for them. Just need to be careful not to go into deep water higher than the hub motors. Use our link and coupon code for money off when you buy.

I am pretty shocked that a 500 watt e-bike gets up to 30 MPH on flat ground. Was that accurate? Wish it had hydraulic brakes but the price is great for what you get.

Yes it is accurate.checked with GPS and even though there not hydraulic they're adequate. The 4.0 model has fat tires and hydraulic brakes.

I saw that on 4.0 model. I like the smaller tires and better step thru look on this one. Plus about $350 cheaper is always nice

How many miles have you gotten personally before the battery died?

To be honest I've never run it dead that's hard on a battery. I believe I had it 42 miles and still one battery bar remaining .

Just fine . We had them down south for about a month. In the intro of video we went over the Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge, Charleston, SC . I'm 180lbs plus gear and a suitcase and bike performed perfectly.

After the first 40 miles of the range did the bike noticbally go down in speed? 😅

@@asmaabouzaid4930 Everything remained the same even after 40 miles . A few weeks ago our trip lasted 64 miles and it still had two bars of battery remaining.
