I went through several heart videos & your was the easiest to follow. I'm not a beginner but all the other ones for a large heart confused me. The video with written pattern at the same time really helps. Also the fact that you explained things well & even mentioned previous steps (like the 1st HDC from the previous round etc & pointed it out). Excellent!

Thank you for this tutorial! I will be making a large tree topper each month for my daughter in law who is battling cancer at the moment. Her immunotherapy will be last 1-2 years and she has decided to keep her Christmas Tree up and decorate it with each months holiday. That is why I needed a large Heart! Whenever you see a video that appears to fast just slow it down. If you have an Apple device, it is the gear in the upper right hand corner of the screen tap it and it will give you a choice of playback speeds.

Repeating the last round will not work correctly to increase the heart to a larger size. I am currently working on a couple of tutorials that will show how to crochet larger heart sizes. I will be sure to update you with a link to the the videos, when I post the new video tutorials for larger crochet hearts. Another way you can increase the heart size in the meantime is to use a larger crochet hook with a thicker bulky weight yarn for this video tutorial.
