We open 1 gift Christmas Eve it's always PJ'S. My mom starred this tradition. So on Christmas morning when taking pictures in the morning we have nice jammies on. Not ones with holes or missing buttons .

Loved the Barbara Ann rendition! Even the little ones chimed in. Nessa had the zoomies there for a minute. We have big dogs but little dogs are adorable. Growing up we opened 1 gift on Christmas Eve and had to wait for everyone to gather in the living room the next morning. I remember one year when Christmas was on Sunday and my brother and I were whining that we wanted to stay home and play with whatever Santa had brought us. Daddy, being the minister informed us that since we were concerned about how much time we would have to enjoy our gifts, we could wait until after church. Then my ever helpful grandma who lived with us gets to telling about the year Santa made 2 trips to her house and took back all the gifts for her and her siblings because they had ungrateful hearts. My brother and I were so worried our gifts would be taken back. But it was definitely a lesson we needed.

I remember growing up, my little sister lost a tooth at school and she couldn’t find it. My aunt helped her write a letter to the tooth mouse (in Mexico we have a mouse, not a fairy) and she put the letter under her pillow. The following day, she discovered the mouse wrote back, leaving a bill and telling her that he would do detective work at school and find her tooth. Being a child is awesome!
