Soap and water is generally better than hand sanitizer for keeping hands clean. So perhaps get a soap travel case and bring a bar or 2, save the hand sanitizer for when you can't use soap and water. At the very least, you, L, D, Ljr and N could use the soap and save the sanitizer for the littles.

this is a great ideas! I am going to go to Walgreens and Dollar Tree today to see if I can snag any but I love the bar soap idea. We have dial which is supposed to be anti-bacterial :)

You made find you over planned. I always do. I get home and we didn’t use half of stuff I packed. Gradually, I am learning to pack only essentials and plan on buying what we need for emergencies.

The reason why I have as little as bags as I have is because I only packed necessities. I was very meticulous in what I packed and what I didn't. The only thing I think we probably won't be using are the wool socks and thermal sets. Everything else is as needed though because if not, I would've ended up with sooooo many suitcases LOL

I use T/Gel on my hair and it helps with psoriasis. I so recommend it. After a week of using it you’ll notice a difference it is worth the $8.

As you start driving on ur trip if you stop along the way you might find more hand sanitizer there or try the dollar stores. I know ours in Philly keep restocking them like crazy along with their cleaning wipes because of all the flu and virus stuff. Also you could try a grocery store like Wegmans if you have those down there or something for hand sanitizer. Most don't think to look there either for it or in bulk like BJ's, Sam's etc then get travel size bottles at Walmart or the dollar store and fill them up so you can have smaller things of it. You probably already thought of these ideas but if not. That's an idea. I hope you have an awesome amazing time on your trip!!! God bless you all

I'm praying for you. You're so brave taking all the kids special needs or not on that long of a trip. I could never with my 23 month old never it would be pure hell he hates the car after 2 hours. We did a 7 hour trip he threw up screamed the whole ride needles tonsaybwe flew home

We are all going crazy with this Corona thing. I am from Portugal and yestarday i went to two Supermarkets and there was no desinfectant ☹️ and you know something? I work at walmart and have for years and have never seen how fast the hand sanitizer and bleach and all the bleach wipes have been wiped out for the last few weeks as soon as we get it its gone...the manufacturing companies are having a hard time keeping up

Aloe Vera gel and rubbing alcohol at least 70% and you can make your own hand sanitizer the boys hair looks so nice 👍

Hey steph. Have u tried shampoo for psoriasis? I had it really bad all over my head and ears and the target brand worked so good for me. It did take about a month but it went away completely and now i just use it if i feel like its coming back.

He’s retired so all he does is watch the news, including all the COVID-19 stuff where they said don’t buy masks if you’re healthy, and yet he ordered masks for my family “in case it gets that bad” and came home with a huge bottle of Clorox spray a few days ago!

It's scary. And the news is making it even more scarier so I get people that are freaking out. Like I am not lying, you couldn't PAY me to step into an airport right now but I think we will be okay in our van. We are taking precautions but I am not going to stop living my life. Almost everyone that's contracted it so far either traveled overseas or came into contact with someone that did. Everyone that's died from it has had immune issues or they're older. So I feel like our issues are good lol.

No hand sanitizer in the UK either Amazon don’t have any until 25th of this month. Toilet paper very low or none most stores baby low in stock pasta none or low in stock tinned good the same tissue the same cleaning products plenty on shelves. It’s so crazy here fights have broken out sometimes it’s comical EBay stay away they have them ridiculous prices and postage is roughly £4 ☺️❤️🇬🇧

Haley Dennis the CDC recommendation is at least 60% alcohol and I just checked one of mine & it said it contains 68%. You’re right about the fragrance though, but when it’s sold out everywhere, they’ll work. :)

Teaching proper hand washing is better then sanitizer! And sanitizer must contain atleast 68% alcohol to be effective.. better tip is baby wipes and some soap on them!!
