Question? Why not feed the meat raw? Cooking it takes away the natural qualities of meat. I've been doing that for 30 years and my German Shepherd Dogs are extremely healthy with no negative side effects. Dr. Karen Becker says a dog's stomach acids are a PH of 1, very acidic which can neutralize pathogens. I'm not criticizing, just curious. When my dogs get around 7 or 8 years old, and are around German Shepherd Dogs the same age, that's when I see a tremendous difference in the GSDs that have been on highly processed kibble all their lives. Thank you for educating so many dog owners! You certainly are a wealth of good information.

Maybe this is a silly quesrion but are you referencing pumpkin when you say squash or do you mean like actual squash like spaghetti or acorn squash?

Hi, I'm a new subscriber trying to learn as much as I can about a raw diet for my GSD cross Rottie. You say to give dogs raw meaty bones but you are cooking this meal to get rid of bacteria therefore, I'm confused

Ok my math skills must not be as good as they once were: Meay 60%, Heart 20%, C arbs 20% Veggies 10-% fruits 5%....that's 115%- how the heck do you do that?

New subscriber, love and appreciate the content. Question what whole are your percentages based? Your percentages add up to 115% which is more then the whole. Do you pick any weight, say 2 pounds, and weigh out 60% of 2 pounds, then 40% and so on.

I have seen some people saying their dogs are vegetarians. Ha ha Yeah, they are vegetarians because the owner will not give their dogs meat. Put a steak and vegetables side by side and see which one the dog grabs first. I am glad he said that dogs need meaty bones for calcium. Dogs will chew up bones. That is how they evolved.

I make huge batches for my adult Dane, but can my 4 month old puppy eat the same or does he need complete balanced every day? He gets raw bones every day☺️

The carbs are part of the veggies and fruit. All the non meats contain carbs

May I ask what the seeds are? I have an Alaskan Malamute who is so very fussy & can go a few nights without eating, breaks my heart. He survived GDV but ever since has had major issues with stomach and skin issues. I’m at a loss of how to help my fur baby 😞

Ground pumpkin seeds can naturally get rid of worms. That natural mitigation is far more preferable than toxic deworming.

Hi Mr Dog Nutritionist I love your channel Are their any benefits to oven baking the meat instead of boiling it? I've always boiled it and then kept the broth in a fridge for a few days which I pour a little over his meals now and again. Was hoping you can advise me on a few questions I have I have a 9 month old bullmastiff (52kgs), recently moved him down to 2 meals a day in the morning we give him kibble with blueberries and then the evening, it's usually 3 small cups of kibble with various vegetables chicken 4-5 times pw (raw most of the time), eggs and also tuna now and again recently I have noticed several small bumps and spots around his body. was just wondering if this could be related to his diet?
