I had to pause to come say this, I run a Thunderbolt with a bunch of MPL and one LRM5. The ability to harass at almost any range, to trigger missile warnings, to indirectly damage enemies, and to use it to dumbfire over terrain to look for AMS cannot be overstated. I do not like loading with as many MPLs as possible for heat reasons, so it is worth the tonnage to me to be able to harass and score easy assists.

I've found the changes to PPC have only made me engage at longer distances with my hunstman

@@SaintAnimus me too, but then I thought "maybe I should try cooler and higher fire rate weapons and kind of stick with the group" it's still poptarted, but more engagement with the team. I am currently running 2 x lpl and one erml with a tc mkII or MKIII...still trying to fine tune it. May drop tc and add another erml. Don't know yet.

I still run my 3xERPPC HMN-A, but yeah, it's changed how I engage. And it's more important to hit successfully or pick targets versus before... I like the sound of 3xLPLs ... might be fun too!

I feel like the hb2c would be better at this. Higher mounts, sac able arms, airtime isn't as important, and very tightly group able lasers. Maybe even some smalls

The frozen city map, plus a 4erll 9m = unfair. Basically just like this, but ECM, and quirked to alpha with no ghost heat. Great unfair fun. Until you get pushed. All LL builds lack the DPS In a brawl.
