I'm still with ya! only had two incidents where things didnt match up just right - one time i had to knock down a third of the building, and the other i fixed pretty easily. This is such a sweet house. i love it! great first project. and Beanonaboard- your accent makes this even better, as it's delightful to listen to. A good point i read in the comments is that it's helpful to have a little bit of text on the screen to accompany your voice over. other than that - awesome!

I did exactly what the video showed to do and it turned out great! After I had finished I had decided to add a few more torches to make it brighter, along with a few paintings too.

I'm on Xbox 360 and in the office I can't put the birch wood slab under the other one, and every time I try it goes two blocks under.

Won't the torchs melt the snow walls? I'm looking for a house to maybe try to build, but I think glowstone would be better, as it would melt the snow?

It won't melt because it only has 15% chance of melting glow stone has a 25-50% chance of melting it

matthew lehmann well, i used glowstone and it turned out great. but Glowstone or torches it wont really matter.

This was the most helpful in depth tutorial and a very nice house i built it in my modern city and i love it but wouldnt make it out of snow i used quartz

You Should of used fence-post and pressure plates for the dinning room table and use redstone lamps

I did the fridge in a other way. I replaced one snow/quartz block with a dispenser and putted food in it. By the dispenser I put a button, and a iron door was blocking the dispenser. So when I clicked the button, the door opened and the dispenser dropped food. Hope this helped :)
