Top 5 Dirtiest Self-Defense Fighting Tricks:
If you're on the ground, your attacker might not give you the chance to hit him with your shins and escape. A larger attacker might end up jumping on top of you instantly and crushing you so much that you lose your breath.
If an attacker does this, do not try to grapple with him. A person who is larger and heavier than you is not a good candidate.
Instead, you need to try and angle. Try striking anywhere possible, whether it be the eyes, nose, or neck. Try and make your attacker lose his balance so you can come to your side with him in front, and start striking his head.
A good tactic is to grab the hair and smash the head on the ground. If he manages to lose his balance or grip on you and you see an opening, take it and get up. Ground fighting with a larger attacker should be a last resort.

Thanks Nick and Moose for making this video. I was just wondering if you could make a video on punching. How much it hurts, how to punch the face, how to adjust your arms so you do a nice strike... Thanks

Even big dudes have soft spots...eyes, throat, the groinage, ears, arm pits are tender, so is the inner thigh...I would use my teeth for sure. This position is a big no no to allow oneself to get into. I'd be pretending I was helpless, peeing my pants (trust me that wouldn't be tough), doing everything a helpless woeman would do until I found a single gap where I could hurt the big dude or even worse the big gal on top of me. Very nice video...

Love the saving of the sunglasses. I LOVE this big dude! I use my weight on my gnarly puppies, he is not only HEAVY, but fast and pretty agile for such a big guy! How does one 'play dead'? (have you been able to look into the body language thing)?

Moose would probably fuck even more shit up with his weight if he learned Combat Tai Chi and how to use his weight from all angles.

He probably feels he does good enough with his present strategy that he doesn't see the need to invest hundreds of hours over a period of years to develop a different one. Of course, maybe he already has acquired that or some other skill but it would defeat the purpose of the video if he came in with Bruce Lee stunts and left his opponent lying on the ground. Then it would be a video for big guys who are wondering if Bruce Lee or some other style had anything to offer them.

I've learned much from CODE RED and the various ways of personal defense from this instruction! Bear in mind, going up against a street fighter is NOT GOOD. unpredictable! At best, train with a close buddy or form your own team to watch these vids, then apply them.

Super duper Nick! Finding a huge person to wrestle with is PERFECT! No punching and owie making but to feel the strength and the weight is probably the most important thing for people to check out! I was in a weird car accident and in the roll over I could FEEL the weight of this land cruiser as it went one way and I went the other. Pinned under the thing...not so great a lesson. Took 8 guys to lift and they couldn't do it. What a great idea! Another analogy would be taking your rig out to a deserted parking lot and doing donuts in the snow. Putting your car into skids. Life saving to understand the slipping and sliding and your rig's weight, the point you can expect your rig to slide out of control in a controlled setting. I LOVE getting guys to wrestle! One of my tests for boyfriends don't cha know? The weight of someone twice your size is an eye opener!! Excellent tool, especially for smaller people and ladies...even not so much proper ladies!

Horse people get this. Working with half ton to full ton animals who can throw you so high might as well enjoy flying for the moment and learning to roll is one of the best tools. Better experience yet is having them rear up and go over backwards right on top of you, pray for mushy ground!!

Took a while, but in the other videos, Nick Drossos says he is 5'11, Moose (the guy in this video) is 6'6, 300 pounds, and the Gerald looking guy from the knife videos with silver hair, is 6'7.
