This is a very matured video to watch. I am a Nigerian, residing in Lagos. I've always heard of makoko but never been there, I only see it from the 3rd mainland bridge. Lagos has many beautiful sites which include beaches, roof top and sea side restaurants, rain forest restaurants, cave restaurants, train stations, cinemas, fun spots and so many. I love Lagos. Foreigners thought it is the most dangerous city in the world until they experience the city. I love your vlogs. It makes me know of many places in my beautiful country.

Thank so much Malhotra Ji for posting such a wonderful video portraying a tough reality of the slum dwellers in Lagos. My purpose of watching this video is (or would be) perhaps very much different from others. I am an academician, and I got a research paper to review (focusing on the slums in Lagos) for an international SAGE journal that comes out from Australia. Since I have never been there, I wanted to have watched some videos and visualize the ground realities. This video was indeed helpful for me to partly understand the slums and and the struggle their dwellers undergo everyday. I saw your two other videos on the KZbin too. While the city of Abuja appears to be an image of contemporary 'global world' having many eye-catching modern urban structures, the regions outside its periphery are equally 'backward' and are yet to go very far to catch up with its glossy image.
