Akshardham, The 2nd largest Hindu temple in the world located in Robbinsville, NJ. It sits on 185 acres of land and had over 12,000 volunteers constructing the complex. The main mandir was full of beautiful marble carvings, but cameras are not allowed.

it's amazing temple build by 12500+ volunteers across the US even some are from different countries like Australia, India, UK, Germany etc.. among the devotees/volunteers were Doctors, lawyers, professionals, College grads, housewives ... many have left their job, profession, business to come and volunteer just to show the devotion for their holy Guru Shri Mahant Swami Maharaj... it's a symbol of love, harmony, dedication and devotion.

i felt great to see the calmness in the environment , the sculptures and the temple looks damn amazing , now i think that's the reason of india being culturally so rich and secure , i have been to india and the people there are really amazing and one thing i noticed that the indians don't call themselves as a part of religion bcoz according to the different literatures and artifacts found in excavation it is prooved that the hinduism is one of the oldest religion to ever exist on earth and they call it as dharma ( eternal duty towards life ) not a religion and the term hindu is given by the western society to address them. india is literally incredible even after lots of invasions by brits, arabs , persians etc to this rich land india still stands strong on its own and is now the worlds fastest growing economy , it seems as if they are reclaiming their looted money ( 43 trillion $ approx )..... a study showed that the whole human civilization is originated from indian subcontinent and we all have indian origin among ourselves and the different literatures in india also prooves this , belive me there are literally thousands of life awakening literatures in india which are helpful in today's chaotic world to gain peace and know the truth of life....... ( yeah there are some scammers too but thats phenomenal if we take a look at the population but 99% of peoples are very warm hearted and welcoming ) ...... i wish india a great future ahead

These questions are fundamental to all human beings and everyone can relate to this thought. Thats why everyone is considered same and is welcomed. Everything - temples, books, saints, hymns, deities, practices, rituals etc. are nothing but stepping stones , different levels of this journey of self discovery.
