No, this festival is in laos country In the Province of xieng khouang laos 🇱🇦

Yes from November through December depending on the cities. The biggest festival is in Fresno CA and is two weeks of celebration. It starts sometime in December. Lots of Hmong artist concerts, parties and DRINKING. Another part of the tradition only here in America,especially during Fresno's Hmong new year, are the gang fights that commonly happen at the fair grounds where they have the festival. U get the full experience of the traditional celebration along with action packed fights. Just stay out of their way. Happens every Hmong new years. 😂

i was in Phonsavan 10-15 years ago now, interesting place and very friendly i stayd in the Mali hotel another interesting place and the owner life a very interesting story. i believe the guy who helped get Long Tieng opened to public. actually the week i had there was pretty eventful from the start of the bus trip from LP it gets very cold there too, something i was not prepared for 🥶😂
