R.I.P to Zach man. As soon as I seen this video I looked him up because I trusted his chameleons quality and wanted to purchase a chameleon from him but, sadly came to realize he had passed away. He's a complete stranger to me but after this video, I honestly felt like I lost a friend and also someone who would gladly teach me anyone else about chameleons and their care. So my condolences got out to his family and friends and anyone close to him, even his chameleons. He seems so passionate, humble and great at what he did. Sending my love my friend.

Not Tiki; you saw him inhaling air. They do that as defense mechanism, a sort of “airbag”. If they feel threatened they will drop (usually grabbing a lower branch with their tail) but sometimes to the ground, and the “airbag” helps protect them. They’ve been documented dropping from heights of ~50’ with no major injuries
