LARGEST SEWAGE TREATMENT WORKS IN SWW AREA (June, 2024))

The sewage treatment works at Countess Wear in Exeter. Showing views of the site from 100 metres high. Also, views of the canal, river Exe and Countess Wear area of Exeter. This is where all the waste water from Exeter goes to for treatment, with the clean water put back into the river Exe. Countess Wear is the largest treatment works operated by SWWS and is located on the estuary of the River Exe in Exeter the capital City of Devon handling a 155,000PE and flow rate of 86 Million litres per day. The site also handles Cranbrook towns' sewage.

hmm, is that Gary playing? Nice works, but how does it measure up against the ground water and river pollution which south west water gave the ok to from the pit at Uffculme. Ohh and by the way - swwa the first time round stood up for the local people and were against the tip - then they were bought by the kingfisher group which at the time also happened to own Haul waste firm that ran the tip afterwards.

There is a LOT of ( 💩 ) in Devon ( I used to live there ! ) ... but mostly it comes from cows😝 ... DAVE™🛑
