I used to work in the mall between 2007 & 2008. Jimmy'Z. It was between Tillys & Protocol Menswear- that wall between.

I’m going there soon, I love the hot topic, and squishables! I’m so exited, and I think that they have a food court there! & at the bottom there are some dessert/snack/food/drink stands and I really recommend trying a meringue there! ( if they still have them. )

Yes the new food court was built about 6 years ago and is always busy.

If you have time there are a lot of restaurants worth visiting outside of your native terminal.

Oh boy, oh boy! I love that mall! And I really do wish that Chris Mcgroarty from the brave little toaster to the rescue could go to that mall with me. So her and I could have lots of fun together. 🍔🍟🛍️

Yes, not a lot of indoor malls are doing well these days. This is one of the exceptions.

The mall in gurnee mills still does pretty well too
@JohnAckerman31 Жыл бұрын
@@DownLowRecka I was at Gurnee Mills with a friend over the summer and I’ve got to say, that mall was pretty busy. I think the mall is doing well because it’s right off I 94, and it’s near the state line so you’ve got people coming from Kenosha, Racine, and other places. It also has some high end stores which help too

I remember 1968 when it was just a hole in the ground. Sold men;s shoes at Sears in the 70's.

You forgot to film the ice skating rink. That was about the last time i was there, late 1970's. Oh sorry forgot they got rid of it in the mid 80's

Ugh! Don’t use carpet in malls. It gets gross pretty quick. Otherwise they did a good job with the ceiling avoiding using those horrid circa 1970s ceiling panels that so many other malls(mostly dead) have used. One thing I really can’t stand though is hearing other people’s screaming kids. I never did that as a kid because I knew what would happen when I got back home. People today have forgotten the difference between discipline and abuse. They think it’s the same thing and if you discipline your child you’re abusing your child which is false. But, as a result parents don’t discipline their children so everyone near them has to hear their kids shrieks in public when their kid doesn’t have his/her way. My parents disciplined me and I turned out okay. Never have been arrested and never spent a day or night in jail. The ones in jail now are the ones you heard years ago when they were kids shrieking in the mall and their parents not doing anything about it.
@mimikyuman5679 Жыл бұрын
I don’t think shrieking in the mall means in the future they will be criminals, also those kids are probably just having fun and if you don’t like it just don’t go near the playground

Carpets probably have benefits the less likely to slip, and if you fall the cushion of carpet is somewhat better than smacking a hard surface. A single lawsuit could cost hundreds of thousands
