There are a lot of superhuman guitar players out there today, more than there ever have been before, but Lari is one of the very few who can pay superhuman AND sound tasteful and phenomenal with every note. She plays the kind of music that will inspire the next generation to pick up the instrument and innovate, just as I'm sure the guitar gods of the 70s and 80s inspired her. One of my favorite things about her is that she lets her music speak for itself, while most female guitarists really over-emphasize the fact that they're *female* guitarists, Lari doesn't make it a 'thing' because she doesn't need to, she's simply one of the best musicians on the planet who happens to play electric guitar and happens to be a woman. It's not easy today to avoid the trap of shoving your "intersectionality" down the audience's throat, and i salute Lari for completely avoiding that trap. She's a total class act!

I first saw her on KZbin a year ago, and was instantly grabbed by her smooth but funky melodic playing, with awesome tone. I got her first album, but in my humble opinion, she has just jumped up a whole level with this new album.. it's one of the best guitar albums I have.. and I have a LOT of guitar albums 😁. It stuns me that it was tracked LIVE over only two days! Two freakin' days! Can't wait to she what she does next. IMO she deserves way more attention and subs. If she keeps putting out awesome music like this, she'll get them.

In my view, she's easily the greatest guitarist alive. There's neither the desperate reach for innovation we see in the prog metal genre nor the desperate need to outrace everyone technically.
