Zonk is getting old as we all are, my hero since i was 15 years old and i am now 59. So many Dolphins have passed from those great years and i am glad we still have Zonk. RIP Shula - Kiick and so many more from that great era of the Dolphins !!

I have read a few different Biographies of some of the Dolphin greats including the Miami Herald writer's team biography of the 70's Super Bowl teams. Shula said when he arrived in '69 and looked at the roster that there were lots of unknowns and he knew they had to upgrade the offensive line, but he liked the QB (Griese) and of Csonka he said he was a no brainer when he had been taken as a high first round pick. So Shula knew he had a great talent in Csonka.

Csonka’s story about wanting the last word with Coach Don Shula says a lot.
