Honestly this sandwich is tasty, we made it in college as a joke but the sable and cream cheese with capers is very nice. Add a LOT of fresh cracked black pepper. Thank you for posting. My great grandpa was a survivor. He told me stories of how the Nazis used this sandwich as a test to sniff out the undesirables. A trial would be held. A sandwich would be placed in front of the accused and if he ate it willingly he was a Jew and would be hauled off to the camps.
