Mark figures out that he will play the tamburine instead, since the other bassplayer in the end of the video want move forward a litle bit so Mark could adjust his volume on his bass rig. Mark and Larry playing together...crist on a bike!! 2 super funkmasters jamming together. Both Larry and Mark are great singers and offcourse some of the best bassplayers in the world. Im saying how many thousands of people have started playing bass only because they heard Pow played on the Radio by Graham central Station and people who heard Love Games by Level 42 ( Mark King is the Bassplayer and lead singer). Personaly i started playing the bass after listening to Love Games. I was sold and was thinking, how the fokkin holy f....smoke is it possible to make the Bass sound like that!!!!i was sold

How cool is this, Graham did in the seventies what King did in the eighties: Inspire people to stick out their thumbs and slap. And here they are together on stage, in a real way Master and apprentice.

Great Stuff! :) But a lot of people make this mistake: Jamiroquai is already a band. The singer of this band is called Jay Kay.
@ADJANOMA10 жыл бұрын
And a lot of people make this mistake; Jamiroquai is a straight rehash of the sound of People like Larry Graham, Nate Phillips and Pleasure, Roy Ayres, Earth Wind and Fire, Patrice Rushen and so on. They didn't invent that sound. Of that there is no mistake.

this show approaches the abandon of an orgy - like an old Sly show, which everybody from Stevie Wonder to Miles Davis talked about, in the day - and just to guarantee it happened in the mind of every last audience member, up to 500,000 of them, Sly's rap would persuade folks - loosen the jams
@andrewgillis857210 жыл бұрын
@Tim Page no Sly, and thus no Sly rap - and still the sound & style of his band (& Bay Area funk) in the able hands & thumbs of Mr Graham is destroying this crowd the way the Family Stone used to - I think most agree Prince has taken it close many times via the same approach, w help of Larry c '99 - all inall an exciting video,thedistortion improvesit -wishonly you'dleftthehorn breakdownat13:10

Jee-zus, it'd be easier taking a dump in a RyanAir toilet during turbulence than playing on that stage!
