@@rucu8311 even if they did...it wouldn't be the same. His kids are different unique people with their own personalities and style of humor. The puppets would feel like different people with slightly or even very different voices. In much the same way Kermit really isn't the same anymore.

I thought Walter hated Phoenix, Arizona..."It's a Dry-Heat." But in all seriousness; I am actually glad that Jeff brought-up how much he cares about the Puppets and their "fate" after he passes on. Because it's something I've always wondered ever since Walter brought it up in Minding the Monsters. Its sad to think about because, once he goes, they go too... I can imagine the day Jeff goes as one of the saddest day's on Earth, and at the end of the tribute video, there'll be a rather mournful and sorrowful tracking shot, featuring Walter, Peanut, Jose, Achmed and Bubba J on a shelf, or on a couch, just slumped up at odd angles...not moving...no one to support them.
