More les twins please! they are literally the best dancers in the world. The more u watch them u will completely understand the art of dance. They are so different because they dance to every beat, vocal, everything at once and u can see the music basically come to life through them. Its like visually seeing music its amazing. Every celebrity knows of them as the best dancers in the world. I would like to see how dance grows on you guys from watching more of them

Him and his brother are magical when they dance. Best dancers I've ever seen in life and it's not even close. I wish I was in your shoes of not knowing who they were so I could go through the process of discovering them again, for the first time. Hopefully I'll get to live vicariously through you should you decide to watch more videos. Can't say enough good things about him and his bro as dancers!

Les Twins danced before they walked, being the youngest from of a family of 9 children who danced. Their dad abandoned the family when they were very young and they wore hand-me-downs and often didn’t have enough to eat. They are from Sarcelles a dangerous, poverty stricken Paris suburb. When they were 13, their mom let them take the train into the city of Paris where they danced on the streets and earned money to buy food and clothing. Alicia Keyes saw Laurent dancing on the street and invited Laurent to dance on stage at a concert that night at the Zenith Theater in Paris. He brought Larry along with him. They dropped out of school at 16 and began to travel to dance for a living. After searching for them for two years, after seeing them dance in a World of Dance competition in 2010 KZbin video that got 45 million viewers, Beyoncé finally located them as they were seen by someone she knew, in Washington Square, NYC. She had them fly to LA and hired them on the spot. She hadn’t realized that they were French. Les Twins have traveled though out the globe performing and giving workshop. They have modeled for the big Paris fashion houses and many other brands. In 2018 they designed their own Air Jordan/Les Twins shoes which sold out immediately. I could go on and on about their accomplishments in movies, tv, performances, etc. Hennessy (a French company FYI!) recognized them for Black Excellence and are still selling Les Twins cognac. Currently they are partners with Bruce Ykanji in Juste Début which puts on world wide competitions and is opening a second dance school site in central Paris. They are touring with their friend Jason Derulo after eight months of touring in the Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour as her featured (not backup) dancers. In August, Les Twins will host the first ever break dancing games in the Olympics. They don’t drink or do drugs and they usually workout and dance every day. (Laurent started an Instagram account called Body by Lau, pronged Low) during the Covid lockdown in a little park in Sarcelles where they played basketball as kids. He showed his viewers how to stay in shape in just ten minutes a day, but it was just part of the workout he usually does. They hate flying, but have been on the road for 16 years. Les Twins have had great success working with kids in Canadian schools for a mental health organization called Kidswrite.

"How does that translate to, like, a career?" And all the Les Twins fans just hit the floor laughing. He and his twin are listed as a separate act on stage with Beyonce. (So for your own safety, never refer to them as backup dancers, because the fandom will lose it.) Seriously, though, watching them in person is even more incredible. Laurent recently confirmed my suspicions when he said they can actually see the music, and I've always thought they have a form of synesthesia where the brain interprets the senses differently (like smelling color or hearing scents). And I guarantee more LT content would be a fan favorite. I've just stumbled across this because I'm a huge fan of the twins, and I'll definitely be looking for more. I LOVE watching people react to them, specifically people who aren't actually familiar with them or a lot of dance. I loved this reaction for that reason. It's always a joy to watch someone else discover them for the first time. Both of their judge demos from Stockholm would be my first suggestion... Anyway, thanks for this.

We knew absolutely nothing about them at all at this point. Lol. It was so cool to fall into this world. We’ve done one more reaction to them so far ‘twins in chains’. I wanted to see the brothers dancing together. It was mind blowing. It doesn’t surprise me that they have synesthesia. They pretty much embody it. We’ll definitely have more Les Twins coming soon - they’re amazing.

Musicians often refer to colors in music. I didn’t do well in a classical music listening 101 class in college because I didn’t think I could identify specific composers from bits of their music, but I could identify visual artists from tiny "swatches". Later in life, I started to "see" music in the same way that I looked at visual and it was a huge revelation for me. I’m a painter who studied music and dance growing up and was constantly exposed to all of the arts thanks to my mother. I think about Les Twins turned loose in Paris at such a young age and what they experienced and absorbed. From time to time Laurent has noted his appreciation for architecture and sculpture in his Instagram stories. Their work has always seemed to reflect many references to French aesthetics since the Fin de Siècle period in France. I hope that some day a really good biographer picks up on their development. They have said that there house was full of music all the time. They seem to be masters of expressing the human condition.

What he and his twin brother do is a bit beyond. There are hip hop dancers who still say that Les Twins aren’t hip hop dancers. Not everything needs a category. Just enjoy the art. If he’s dancing with his brother it’s completely different than when they dance individually. As a dancer you’re just trying to be yourself, and hopefully the people who are moved by what you do are doing the same. Don’t let someone else steal your light because they want you to think the way they do
