Since I saw many comments regarding the Note I left,Yes Pekora is Running a Type of Nuzlocke. I just used the JP name of the challenge because the rules are a bit different from the Basic Rules of Nuzlocke. That is just me playing safe so hardcore players won't complain about it saying it's not a Nuzlocke cuz it's different etc. I apologize if it made things weird or confused some of you guys.

There's two main types of Nuzlocke though. Regular and hardcore. It is a Nuzlocke even if they use items. Just not Hardcore. Items are broken (see PChal rects to RTGame).

The thing about this is while each E4 and the Champion get to Terastallize against you, you get to Terastallize *once* against *one* of them. This is a gauntlet, you don’t get to tag the center to recharge your orb in the middle.

I tried a blind Nuzlocke too. Wanted to climb up the mountain, so I ended up challenging the ice gym first. I didn't know the game wasn't level scaled. I thought Game Freak would account for that with the game being open world. I was *very* wrong.

The League setup hinted one valuable clue: If gym leaders have typings taken: what types to they have? It has been the formula since Gen 1. Team Star took up 5 other types. The Titan Pokemon are the only typings without a trainer. My type prediction was spot-on when I faced up to Larry, but I miscalculated the ordering and thought he is a Rock type. Definitely put me on the backfoot until I turned things around on the later half, as 2 of my team are weak to Flying. It was clear the chairwoman was checking if I was keeping track of which types I knocked down and what else remained.

I tried this as Blind Nuzlocke. Basically, the one rule I had is if the Pokémon faints, well, it’s retired. Also, though, I can’t tell what the opponent has or its level. When I got to Larry, I think I got incredibly lucky that I assumed it was flying. I know previous Pokémon games had a gym leader that also was part of the Elite Four (Koga), but that didn’t explain how I knew he was flying. The answer? I remember saying the color of his tie XD “It has to be flying. His tie is sky blue!!” XD So I switched to Shelly the Cloyster as first and then used Shell Smash, which he ALSO had protect. An incredibly lucky clean sweep XD
