Okay NO, listen to me, cause now that you've done it, I gotta say this. I'm a massive Taylor fan, stuck with her since 1989, knew her even before then, a stan since I was twelve. I have her songs memorised better than my own birthday, and maybe a bit ashamed to admit, but I know some of her songs better than 1D songs. When Harry and Taylor 'dated', even stupid, young me realised it can't be real. Not a total Larrie back then or whatever, but I just realised that, if most of 1989 is about Harry, then there's not a proper way they really dated. I didn't know why back then. Later, though, as I grew up, and started having better grasp on stuff, I realised why I felt that way. And Wildest Dreams is one of the reasons for that. The MV is brilliant, because if it's really about her and Harry, then it's accurate for the most part. In the MV for Wildest Dreams, Taylor and her lover are actors. They're pretending to be in love, but they don't get along, maybe hate each other to some extent. In the movie premier night, we see that Taylor's lover is actually dating someone else in real life. Now the song title, it literally means unlikely to happen, extremely strange. Do with that what you will, but to me, it's almost like Taylor is asking that guy to say he remembers her, and they'll see each other again, even if it's very unlikely to ever happen, meaning a relationship known to be doomed since the start. And I don't know about you, but that wouldn't be on my mind if I was madly in love with someone. Let that sink in. Now, the lyrics: (Last chorus) Say you'll remember me, standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset, babe, red lips and rosy cheeks, say you'll see me again even if _it's just pretend_ And, honestly? If Larry is real, and Haylor was just a PR relationship, I do think Taylor would've known about Louis and Harry. The catch? Look at 1989 songs: Style: You've got that James Dean daydream look in your eyes (James Dean, despite being very famous among women, has always had speculations about his sexuality running after his name. After his death, some sources revealed that he might've been bi, or gay) Out Of The Woods: The rest of the world was black and white, but we were in screaming colors (Screaming colors? Maybe like a rainbow? Anyone?) (Also the whole song is about trying to make a relationship to survive under horrible circumstances) (Also, 'Remember when we couldn't take the heat, so I walked out and set you free' sounds awfully a lot like 'Oh I can't believe I gave into the pressure [...] So I cut you off cause I didn't know no better') I Know Places: (For Christ's sake, the whole song is about a hidden relationship and how everyone are trying to hunt them down, and how they're literally hiding and running, which, the astronomical amount of pap pics from Haylor doesn't suggest trying to hide) It's a scene and we're out here in plain sight (they're acting indifferent, not being themselves, but people still whisper and speculate, also double meaning? Since Harry and Louis acting like they weren't close and Taylor and Harryg acting like they were dating was all part of a scene, since they were acting) I can hear them whisper as they pass by, it's a bad sign, bad sign, something happens when everybody finds out, see the vultures circling, dark clouds [...] Cause they got the cages, they got the boxes, and guns, they're the hunters, we are the foxes, and we run (Um? Hello? Cage? Box? Maybe closet? Make it more obvious?) Baby, I know places we won't be found (Secret little rendezvous?) I know places we can hide (Hidden relationship) Let them say what they want, we won't hear it (Ummmm... 'I don't care what people say when we're together, you know I wanna be the one to hold you when you sleep'???) Loose lips sink ships all the damn time (The idiom literally means spilling secrets may as well doom them, what part of Haylor was secret exactly?) This Love: (Um, hello? Why is she singing about eternal love in an album who's speculated to be about someone she dated for three months? Also the mention of ships in this song, the sea theme is astronomical? Also the line 'When you're young, you just run, but you come back to what you need' SCREAMS Too Young to me, I'm actually worried a bit.) In short? Taylor's recent albums revealed that she has a knack for writing about other people, their love and lost, even from their points of view. We knew Taylor has written stuff that way before 1989, Starlight isn't from her point of view. So, if Larry is really real, and Taylor knew about it, the way we know how it's the most beautiful love story in our era, do you think she wouldn't have written about it? Taylor, hopeless romantic, would've just ignored it? Yeah, nope. No way. Also, bonus for those who lasted; You Are In Love is so Harry talking of fetus Larry I'm taking zero questions about it. The whole song is like, wow, just listen to it if you haven't, but I'll just put the best parts: Morning, his place Burnt toast, Sunday (Hello? Louis' place and burnt toast? He can't hold his own in the kitchen for shit?) You keep his shirt (I mean, obvious) [...] And for once, you let go Of your fears and your ghosts (I mean, what was there to not be scared of? Also, 'But I don't care, I'm not scared of love'? They moved past the fears?) [...] One night he wakes (Unnecessary mention, but they always put their beds next to each other so they could share, as Louis once said they have to separate the beds now in one of his jealous moments) Strange look on his face Pauses, then says You're my best friend (What the FUCK-) And you knew what it was He is in love (Of course he is) You can hear it in the silence, silence, you (Their looks? Literally half of our moments is just their looks, while they never said it but we knew?) You can feel it on the way home, way home, you (Home. Huh, strange) You can see it with the lights out, lights out (Reminds me of that kiss they shared when the stage was dark. Also, hidden. But we saw) [...] You two are dancing in a snow globe, 'round and 'round (Snow globe? More like glass closet) And you understand now why they lost their minds and fought the wars (The wars. Lost their minds. 'I can't even think straight'. Yup. Mhmmm) And why I've spent my whole life tryin' to put it into words (Do you hear me scream, or...?) Conclusion??? Larry is totes real, and Taylor knew it.
