The talk was given one month before John Bolton's book published. Trump and Xi seemed to be pretty cordial to enjoy each other's company. As for multilateral-ism to strengthen US dollars, Trump has threatened or actually backed out of numbers of international groups, which is exactly doing the opposite. If Professor Summers were to give another talk next month, he might have changed some of the points.

the post-COVID world described by Larry Summers seems to me like the closest to what will become reality. Tyler Cowen's thinking also seems to be similar, and to me prolly right. based on that- who else should I look into?
