The Regal-Van Hammer Story is at 3:03 If you're wondering why the Regal-Van Hammer video starts with the name "Mike Graham", here's why: In several interviews I've ended with a list of names the interviewee worked with during a defined period of time (in this case, the early 1990s) and asked them to give me a thumbs up, thumbs down and maybe throw in a little story. I've only just decided to call the segment "The Firing Line", hence the lack of build up or intro!

@Scar Face real fighting was how he started in the business, at the wrestling booth in Blackpool, when he was 15 he had to take on actual men in legit shoots if he didn't win he go no money. Regal is more of a hooker in the style of Billy Robinson and therefore more dangerous than a shooter

I've heard several stories of Van Hammer getting his ass kicked by various wrestlers over the years. I think that he was happy to retire from pro wrestling. Unfortunately, in early 2020, Van Hammer was involved in a DUI hit-and-run. He was driving at 58 mph in a 35 mph zone and struck a 5-year-old child who was riding a bicycle. Thankfully, the kid survived, but Van Hammer was sentenced to 1 year of probation, 1 year of driver's license revocation, and his vehicle must have an interlock device at all times for the duration of his probation.

From the wiki: Kanyon had been suffering from bipolar disorder, and he threatened suicide in the weeks prior to his death. On April 2, 2010, his brother Ken Klucsarits, concerned about him not answering calls, found him dead in his Sunnyside, Queens, apartment. An empty bottle of antidepressants and the drug Seroquel were found nearby. He was 40 years old. Kanyon left behind a note of apology for his family. His death was acknowledged by WWE.
