I love how relaxed and chill Kevin was in here. He’s funny and charming. And he seems to get on with Gary really well.

In 1990 Kevin Costner was offered the lead in a film that needed a big star to get the studio financing, but Costner turned it down because he had been working three years straight and needed a break. Costner's wife, Cindy Silva, read the script and realized its importance and told her husband, "This film has to be made." The film was JFK by Oliver Stone. Thank you, Cindy Silva.

You can bet Gary likes Kevin because the dude perfectly knows what he is, what he can and what he has to improve in order to at least try it. Is not the first interview where he comes across as a very clever, hard working, centered fella, a real proffesional in the true sense of the word.

Very smart men to stay away from politics. And this was 6 years ago. Oldman gave a beautiful acceptance speech at the Oscars and he spoke about being so proud of becoming a US citizen and making the US his home and the Hollywood audience just remained almost shocked by what he said. I think this is the new America Oldman's talking about.

I kinda feel the same way. Though I think it may be down to the editors, or if Larry is doing so it's because it's such a tight interview trying to cram in so much interesting stuff in just under 27 minutes. I think his cuts come in when the interesting answers are just coming to an end though.

Not just in the USA "politics" are going off the trails. I come from Sweden and social media has a similar tendency here. Really important stuff could get pushed under the carpet while someone says something and that is the focus for thousands of people. There are big questions being handled and people don't know and it gets to a point where many don't even care. I find it a very bad way.. Everyone can make a little difference. Try to do something constructive. Go out and clean your street from rubbish, help a friend in need, help your neighbor to move in, come with criticism that is grounded in reality and can be done. Instead people focus mainly on themselves and their "status" in society and don't really care what actually happens with the society at large.

I think these guys understand that that’s his job to interject and interrupt. He’s got points that he supposed to make or ask questions about. I mean this is definitely not something that they’re on a custom too. In every day interactions we would consider incredibly rude, they probably consider it just part of the job.
