I once had a long conversation about John Ritter with someone and the importance of him and how good he was, and the person I was talking to just couldn't get it. They were stuck on the fact that he was just an actor who played in sitcoms . What was so special about that? There are 100s of actors who just play in a sitcom for the check. And you can tell those right away and generally those are the sitcoms that don't last or don't really touch people. As Jason stated here and anyone who ever watched John could tell, he was in it for more. He truly had a passion for making people laugh . he put him self into the roles he played no matter how goofy. The line is true , there are no small roles, only small people. Even roles as a guest star you could tell the impact john had on a room and a scene . he will be missed always

Was a huge fan of John Ritter in 'Three's Company', and it's quite sad, even all these years after his death, to once again remember that he died at an earlier age than one would expect. It's something else to watch his son Jason being interviewed in this video. I can hear the similiarity in his speaking voice, in addition to the obvious physical similarities. I hear Jason Ritter is an actor as well, although I'm not familiar with his work, but it's refreshing to see he is carrying on the trade of the Ritter men since Rex started it all for them way back when. Bless this young man, and I wish him the best.
