I don’t have a bait caster and want to get one. I usually reel left even though I’m right handed. Should I get a right or left handed bait caster? I assume it would be the same?

If your right handed, Get the right handed baitcaster reel. It's different from spinning reels

I got a left handed one, same side as my spin caster. I like it cause I don’t have to switch hands just to cast

@@FulcraIf it’s not too late, get a left-hand retrieve baitcaster. That’ll allow u to cast, manipulate baits, and set the hook with ur dominant hand, while reeling with ur left hand. Ur already accustomed to reeling with ur left hand, so there’s no learning curve there. A right-hand retrieve baitcaster will force u to switch hands after the cast, so avoid that.
