There is a video titled "Once Aurora" which shows her on tour in Brazil at the start of her career and other stuff , i found it quite upsetting , at one point she is waiting in her dressing room to go on stage and she is shaking like a leaf (very nervous} and drinking wine from the bottle to calm herself down ,. very moving. She is also shaken by the actions of one obsessed fan who blocks her car and screams to meet her. We had to pay to download this on Vimeo but ive seen it on KZbin before , it may have been taken off now.

I noticed your comment about her sometimes dark lyrics. Aurora is a prolific reader and I’m wagering that the great depth and twists of the dark side of life are likely inspired by some of what she reads. I’m surmising this based on interviews I’ve seen of her. She also scored at the genius end of the IQ testing in school and was often teased for it by other students.

Aurora Aksnes (born 15 June 1996),known mononymously as Aurora (stylized in all caps),is a Norwegian singer, songwriter, dancer and record producer. Born in Stavanger and raised in the towns of Høle and Os, she began writing her first songs and learning dance at the age of six. After some of her songs were uploaded online and became popular in Norway, she signed a recording contract with Decca and Glassnote Records in 2014. Aurora gained notoriety with her debut extended play (EP), Running with the Wolves (2015), which contained the sleeper hit "Runaway". Later that year, she provided the backing track for the John Lewis Christmas advert, singing a cover of the Oasis song "Half the World Away" Aurora's debut studio album, All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend (2016) received generally positive reviews, charting in various European countries and earning platinum certification two times in Norway. Aurora has tons of unreleased songs outside. These are massively excellent songs that Aurora holds back. Never made it to an album, never played live. For whatever reason. I think that's Aurora's safety net if she's ever stuck in a creative cruse but has to meet contract terms. Then a part of it will be published. I think about 20 of these songs alone exist here on youtube. If that's enough.

I believe this is older early stuff , its unlikely that you will ever see a performance of this song .There are lots of her songs finding their way onto KZbin just lately and its not sure who is putting them out there. Im sure her management must be aware of it but they are not having them taken down. Aurora may not be aware as she said in interviews that she doesn't watch herself on KZbin , of coarse that might not be the case now. We just dont know what to expect next , do we ?

Hearing these unreleased versions are like going back in time and experiencing an alternate time line where she continues to focus on dark and tragic themes. I feel she made a conscious decision to redirect her creativity towards positive emotions, empowerment and activism as is reflected in her subsequent albums. Like any artists that grows over their career, these songs had more meaning when she first wrote and performed them back in her early days so we will never hear them in her live performances (especially being unreleased). But Aurora has always had a different perspective to her music and the music industry and I sense she isn’t angry with her old songs being released without her (or her label’s) permission. Secretly I’m imagining that she is intentionally releasing her old songs to satisfy her many fans and followers that yearn for the music from her early years. It would be just like Aurora to tap into her own unique creativity by simultaneously existing in the present and the past.

Most of these unreleased (leaked) songs appear to be demos or incompletely produced older songs. I think AURORA is currently in a different place than she was when she recorded this. If she decides to use any of that material in the future, she can always do so, or reconfigure and otherwise update them -- she is uber-creative, so this is entirely possible.

i did see a video once were there was some discussion with her manager about which songs would feature on her first album or second one , i cant remember which now , if anyone can remember what video im talking about then please let me know. It is unreleased song but not recent, just it was never released. She has so many unreleased songs. @@larryshair I'm not sure what this song is about, it is old from 2015. Later at least she seems to be agnostic or atheist. In the song "Infections Of A Different Kind" that came out in 2018, written in 2017, she says: "And if there is a God, would we even know his name? And if there is a God, I think he would shake his head And turn away ... And if there is a God, would he then believe in us? Ah ah And if there is a God, I think he can't hear all of us. No oh" and she said in an interview about the song: "I would love it if god would be something that you can touch. Something like a little girl, on this earth, and not something that is far away or judges from above, you know?" Her album that comes out Jan 21st 2022 is called "The Gods We Can Touch" and is about the gods from greek mythology.
