I'm Canadian, the shoe thing is normal to me lol. Watching Americans wearing shoes from the outside and walking all over the house and wearing them all day freaks me out. I always think darn Americans must never care about having a dirty floor, or spend all day cleaning their floors. But then I also remember only a very small part of the US gets snow for a very short part of the year whereas here we have snow for 85% of the year so the muddy gross boot prints we leave vs the little bit of dirt or mud most Americans would deal with is different lol

In Weber’s defense it is appropriate and respectful to take off your shoes when entering someone else’s house and is a sign of respect for their household and what’s wrong with cleaning the bathroom when living there. That’s another respectful manner as well because you’re living there so it’s another sign of respect. I think y’all trippin for hatin on him lol

I disagree with Joe, I think it’s perfectly respectful that he cleans the bathroom and kitchen and everything else to help out. Larry and his wife have graciously opened their home to him with no expectations. It’s only right he helps out around the house. That’s a very respectful houseguest.

I think it is a very considerate thing to do if they are letting you stay in the house. How is it weird to help out a friend, even if your not staying their, the world needs more nice considerate unselfish people in it...
