We’re fighting high level AI versions of Pro players, using Lars! This is Ghost Battle, where you can face a simulated player that feels like the real thing. I go against Anakin, MulGold98, #1 Watanabe Fan, Yamagi and more. This is a GREAT mode for practicing.

I agree that the ghost replicas aren't exact, but they most certainly are pretty good for what they offer. And like you, I've played A LOT of ghost battles and have an offline GoD rank despite only being a Shinryu online. 😅

I've been playing Ghost mode, it's really fun, but do you think this mode is really effective for training and learning the game?

I think it's great for learning how to defend certain character's key moves, as well as practicing your own punishes, combos and spacing. But as I said in the video, Ghosts don't adapt and it will never be the same as fighting a real person. But for what it is, it's an excellent simulation of real matches, so the muscle memory gained from playing is useful.

Is it only special characters that can run up the walls like Lee did?

Every character has a wall jump move - it's a legacy feature that's rarely used, but has specific viability.

Honestly, Raef's Ghost was the most impressive. Lots of pressure, mixups, combos. Also, Double's Victor was great to learn from.
