Your Show & Tell about how & why the J&M cart unloading auger got damaged was interesting. But nothing was said about J&M correcting the CAUSE of the failure, the "frozen" hydraulic solenoid. Seems they only fixed the mechanical hardware not the actual cause of the failure. I’ve never heard of Cold temps, or even water in the oil causing a valve to “stick”. The hydraulic oil pressure is high enough to un-stuck a valve and even crush ice as mixed-water in the oil. The valve must be internally mis-machined. Perhaps it should at-least been replaced or a different brand installed.

Only when tracks a driven. If they on implement they put them on backwards I’m unsure why.

@@LarsonFarms The same reason drive tires are installed with the "V" pointing in the direction of travel, traction. By reversing an implement tire, the tire has more traction and will turn better.

The manufacturers of these remote control boxes need to make the buttons bigger for our gloved fingers and Dad's fat fingers without gloves. And those thin bushings are a real pain in the arse. Are you claiming you moved the chute quite easily without cracking the hydraulic lines? Must be a pressure relief valve on the down chute side. Must be engineered with restrictors and a lower working pressure on that down side of the cylinder. If the lines were cracked any air in the system is compressible.

Minnesnowta? Use Blue coral spray for that carpet, it will clean and then dry up. Any auto parts store. Nice oil drain and the hose holder. :)
