I feel bad for Xu Huang. The poor guy has been thrown in the dirt and treated like an insignificant officer by Koei Tecmo even though he saved Wei and totally crushed Guan Yu at Fan Castle, and yet they give all that credit to Xiahou Dun, and that’s just bullcrap. It’s sad because Xu Huang was a phenomenal man and an exemplary officer.

atleast most movesets are great i hated taischi ci moveset in every older dw but in 7 and 8 it was quite useful also ling tong only two iam sad is yuan shao and gan ning

Megumi Bandicoot I agree, they wanted to spotlight many characters like Xiahou Dun, Lu Meng and Guan Ping on the sacrifice of Xu Huang under the shadows. He was actually the one who was supposed to shine in Fan Castle

Yeah.. he's my favorite in DW5 and 8, they just give him Lu Meng's clone pike in 6 and 7

Technically? In the real historical records, Lu Meng is credited with finally defeating Guan Yu. Not Xu Huang, though he is correctly credited with issuing a bounty (1,000 "jin" of gold) on Guan Yu's head to whoever killed him.

Xu Huang is quite an enjoyable character to use. 11/10 for his helicopter mode.
