GR8 video! I lived in Las Colinas back in the 90's and fished the canals all the time. Back then they were full of fish. I used jigs and caught crappie, bass, perch, flathead cats, channel cats all on crappie jigs.

Hi thanks for the support unfortunately bank fishing for crappies is just about over with. They will be of in deeper water. The only 2 spotsI can think of that upu much cycling some of that not done spawning is McInnish Park in Carrollton Texas and Lake Providence in Providence Village Texas.

You can't fish lake Carolyn police will ticket you. I got permission. I got lucky for sure. I was fishing a pond over here a few weeks back I shared the location. Seaech my videos about 3 weeks ago. When it warms up they should bite there.

I was on that lake last night but on the other side, 4.5.2023 . I was yanking good bass out and some still had eggs. I was using the jigs. I got a 1.47 lb crappie too on the ned rig.... Best times I had there are on a cloudy day or evenings. Big bass are in there and that place is full of fish all over. I mostly use 20 lb line to boat flip the bass there too.

No rock out here to get hung up on just a grass bottom.

Have you ever fished a rocky lake with that grub? And if how did you keep from loosing your gig?

@michelle harris Yes, I get snag also. When you cast and the jig hit the water, start counting until the jig hit bottom. It hits bottom when you see the line stop, and it kind of slack that's when you know it's on the bottom. So if you count to 8 and it's on the bottom, whenever you cast start reeking back at 4 or 6 count. That prevents snagging, but you do still get snag here and there because I do all the time. It's part of fishing. Thanks for the support. I appreciate it
