So fun to see you pick your items. Pieces without stoppers...I come across those a lot...and bc we have so many corks from wine bottles that I've saved, I always tell myself I could easily cut one from one of those corks to replace a lost one, but I never do. Good intentions that never manifest. 😞

Clear glass also glows. The older pieces because of the manganese in it. Not as bright as uranium but still can see a glow and there is alot of clear glass out there. Not sure if it's as popular as uranium tho. There's actually alot of different glowing glass. Gary should just carry a powerful purple light flashlight and give all the shelves a passover lol

@@PickerRoad I had purchased a vintage Westmoreland ashtray set a turtle clear optic cigarette holder and 2 small ashtrays and for some reason hit them with the black light and they glowed yellow. So I checked a few other things my clear Fenton glass cat it too glowed yellow. Bluebirds of Happiness will also glow green. But if I were you Gary get a stronger black light flashlight because sometimes the weaker ones will not show it as well. Don't want you to miss a piece when you have a lot "riding" on it lol

@44:31 Roseville pottery in good condition is always a yes especially with the lids. 30 for one set 75. That's etsy. I learned about Roseville from George.

The Roseville canisters are Robinson Rainsbottom Pottery located in Roseville, not the Roseville you think it is. That's what RRP standsfor.

For peeps who aren't reselling...if you do come across something glass that has a VERY SMALL edge chip, or "flea bite" you can use a bit of very fine grit sandpaper to smooth it out and also if it's ceramic and there's a small glaze chip..use a small amt of paint (Testors enamel paint works well to touch up. )It's not a perfect fix, of course, but may make it more acceptable to buy and then still enjoy the "flawed" item.

Those canisters weren't Roseville pottery. They're made by Robinson Ransbottom Pottery (RRP) in Roseville Ohio. The company went out of business in 2005.

For your info that is not a lizard whistle it is a mouth organ sort of like a harmonica..Native Americans use them and flutes to make their music. It could have been kinda valuable at least more than the price of the bag.this was in Goodwill #5 towards the end of the episode.
