How can the coverage grade be the worst in the last 5 years, when PFF ranked them as 17th best secondary last season, and just outside the top 10 the season before?? I'm not arguing against adding a player, but this "Raiders' roster is terrible" gaslighting is ridiculous - it's not... it's mid, it just suffered from terrible coaching and bad luck with injuries and turnovers.

Words cannot express how pissed off I would be if we drafted Ashton jeanty at 6 let alone over one of the top two qbs of there. This rb class is too damn deep to draft jeanty at 6.

@ there are at least 5 backs that I’m taking rather than draft jeanty at 6 especially if cam or Shedeur are there. It was a bad pick. On top of that Jeanty is already getting a lot of wear coming out of college. I’m not spending a top 10 pick on someone who may only be here for 4 years

Not taking anyone on the OL or DL through the first 4 picks is crazy. Adding Will Johnson would be a great pick at #6 but, after that, the secondary isn't nearly the priority that you think it is... Jakorian Bennett was looking really good before injury, Moehrig had a great season, and Jack Jones is far better when the DL can pressure the QB... something that was lacking because of the injuries to Koonce and Wilkins.

What a farce of a mock - you can't "not take" Sanders (a QB with round 2 talent) because you think he will go in the top 3, and then NOT push the other players down the board! If Sanders is gone then one of those other players is still available - probably McMillan or Johnson... and BOTH would be a better selection than Jeanty in the deepest RB class in recent memory! Also better than Jeanty... Mason Graham, who was actually available... but you didn't even mention him, when the Raiders only have ONE starting DT under contract! How to tell us you don't know the roster, without telling us you don't know the roster.

I would consider trading back the first pick if McMillan or Sanders is not available. Get a 1st and second round pick from a mid level team. Then get Egbuka with that first pick, get an Rb with that 2nd pick, and get a qb with the other second pick. Then we have our 2 3rd round picks left to build around. 🤷‍♂️

Drafting Jeanty would be something "draft experts" hate and couldn't fathom, but would be a hugely successful move in the real football world. You don't draft a TE at 12 either, but sometimes you do when they are just that good. Jeanty isn't just some back. The undersell on him is insane. Pete Carroll loves to run it down a teams throat.

My picks based on what I saw 1. OT Will Campbell (LSU) Why? Raiders need to resolidify that offensive line. You can draft the best RB but if he don't got holes to run through what's the point. Move him to RT and you are looking good up front. 2. Edge Kyle Kennard (S. Carolina) Why? Simple apply pressure on opposing QB's. The strat is very simple. Protect your QB and wreck havoc on opposing QB's. Build from the inside > out. Kennard pared with Maxx would be insane. 3rd. RB Tre'veon Henderson (Ohio State) Why? Okay so you solidified your OL in Will Campbell. Now you can draft solid RB without over drafting for one. Henderson is not just a running back. He can run plays out of the backfield also. Really reminds me of Josh Jacob's

1st T Mac WR, 2nd Jaxson Dart QB, 3rd Skattebo RB, 3rd offensive guard would be a home run. Raiders D will be fine. They finished top 15 in 2024 after losing 60% of their starters to injury. Second half of 2023 they were the number one D.

Never get why on all the PFF drafts they say, 'well the mock has gone like this so far and player X is still available but we think he's rated too low and that he'll be gone before that so we're not going to take him', but that means one of the players that HAS been taken WILL be available - so Will Johnson maybe.

I would love to see the Raiders trade back into the 20 and draft corner Ben Morrison out of Notre Dame and maybe pick up an additional late 2 or early 3rd and use their 2nd pick on maybe a Tyler Booker then Grant from Michigan and in the 3rd maybe Harold Perkins then an edge who might fall.... will find a rbm

Jeanty would not be a good pick for the Raiders and I’m not even a Raiders fan. Bijan worked out because he fell into a system with a great offensive line. Raiders offensive line isn’t good enough to justify Jeanty at 6th overall.
