The awkward truth is that Maxx was the number one mouth piece for AP. He forced Mark Davis's hand and basically strong armed him into the decision to promote him. I was absolutely on the AP train. Strength of schedule changed a number of yrs ago. They’re trying to keep teams from purposely tanking. I don’t like that the nfl changed that rule. I don’t think teams try to tank. They play with pride. Every professional league has a rule regarding that. The raiders right now should be higher in the draft pecking order. They have one of the toughest schedules in the nfl this yr. Seems they’re gonna end up being penalized for that. Teams with easier schedules should not benefit from that. Teams with harder schedules should benefit. This is how the nfl keeps their favorite teams on top. And don’t kid yourself, they have their favorite’s. The raiders have never been one of the leagues favorites. It all goes back to Al Davis suing the league yrs ago. The raiders are despised by nfl circles.
