AOC needs a 20+ point game to close on if he wants to help his case. A 20+ pt game also helps Turner. Need a big game from Jack; he needs to show he can perform against a good combo like Justin and Ladd. Butler needs to shut down the run in the middle and get Herbert off his spot. Closing on a nice game helps his future and I really want to see that guy back next year.

Question... does anyone feel, because our guys in the offensive line are "big guys". We need a QB thats tall enough to, see the field when they stand up, to protect the pocket? Somehow I think Minshews biggest problem, was seeing the field after, the guys up front, stood up to proctect him. So... I dont know... would a QB, like Kyler Murray work out?

I like that idea. The kid has "potential", & the personality to be molded. Our organization though... doesnt seem to want to mold young blood. Would like to see, what he can give us though. We seem to want "solutions" of the bat. And it's where we're at. It's why Brock's been a revelation. I'd really like to see him develo, with Brady as "QB Mentor", behind AOC. So am for it man!

Assuming AP is the Head Coach in 2025 & AOC is the starting QB, I'd like to see Tom Telesco draft the top two Offensive Guards in the 2025 Draft; #1 Tate Ratledge, #2 Tyler Booker. Get those two players into & with the other 3 OL & the Raiders will now be able to open holes for running backs & provide protection & more time for the QB in passing situations. WiN - Win

Banks from Texas 2nd Jaxon Dart Or trade back with 1rd pick and gain another 2nd and draft best available Oline in first, Jaxon Dart in 2nd and another Olineman and go from there. Grab T. Higgins in FA and more on defense like a LBer. So my draft can work. Sit Dart to learn behind AOC til he’s ready to start. Fix that line, get PG on board with extension. He’s build a defense that’s competitive AF, something we have missed for years, they literally kept us in games all season with hella injuries. We lost a lot of games because the offense kept them on the field sooooo long with 3 and outs and turnovers. From game one we held the Chargers in check but what two break runs late that killed us to our last lost before to wins, our backups on defense with few starters held ground. We are NOT far off but if they AGAIN rip apart a core that’s there, we’ll be back to building AGAIN. We keep doing it, Jon got targeted and removed and we still made the playoffs only to rip it apart and hire Josh McDummy. We still have a good core after his idiots moves but what will Tom Telesco, Mark and Brady do. What’s the definition of insanity? I just hope they understand that FOR ONCE GOTDAMN!!!

BTW Mahomes was very average in the Playoffs last year. Spagnoluo won those games and Mahomes played smart. Yes the QB needs to play at a high level but he doesn't need to be better than the other guy as long as he makes plays when necessary to help the team win.

Q, you just don't get it. And maybe you never will. No one especially me is saying AOC is the end all to be all. All fans want the best player they can get at EVERY POSITION. What we're saying is we don't have to sell the farm to get a guy who ends up being a BUST!. Trust me there are no guarantees. What we have in AOC is a competent, quality starter. I don't believe in needing the best QB to win a SB what you need is the best FOOTBALL TEAM!!!! Eli Manning beat Brady TWICE. WHY? Eli had the better defense. Old man Brady beat Mahomes. WHY? better team better defense. You focus on the QB way too much. DEFENSE wins championships NOT QB's I learned that when Montana beat Marino who was by far the better QB. Montana had a much better team but was an average QB at that time. He got much better later. But in that SB he just threw a bunch of screens and short passes like a game manager. Marino was under duress all game because his RB died earlier that year. Trust me if we build right the QB just needs to play well and don't give it away.

I don't think you give up the farm for a qb this year, take the best player there, plus after we get our door blown off by the Chargers tomorrow and a team or two under us wins and we will slide down a spot or two. We do need a qb though cause AOC is a backup at best. We are at a huge coaching and qb disadvantage just in our division, changes have to be made
