Patrick Graham could be next HC when Pete steps aside, Graham should just wait it out.

That’s probably what Pete told him and he agreed to come back

He doesn’t seem like he has a head coach personality.. he seems soft spoken .. I wonder of about that.. chip Kelly same thing, not known to be a leader or win the locker room

@kostaskritsilas268154 минут бұрын
Hondo said the same thing in the podcast. The offer could not be made because Ben Johnson was in the playoffs with the Lions. As soon as the Lions lost, Ben Johnson signed with the Bears.

Ben Johnson wasn’t worried about losing 3 million he went to Chicago cause he has a quarterback he would’ve came here if we had one, but you know the situation with that boys
@TheeOriginalSurferbob4 сағат бұрын
Ben Johnson also turned down working with Daniels who obviously is way better than Williams. Ben Johnson is a weird dude, like Gase and McDaniels. Iv seen this countless times. Hot coordinator, both O and D, who gets the big seat and flames out.

Now that Leonard is also the run defense coord and DL coach i hope that he can improve our run D. Graham's defensive scheme has been too weak against the run. If we 12:09 can stop the run then we can use our strength to rush the Qb

Could see Meyers, Mayer, and O’Connell being traded. Mattison, Zeus will both be gone. They are not fits for the Chip Kelly offense. Kelly wants lots of speed at receiver, tight end, and running back.
@mikehaisten79102 сағат бұрын
Hondo if you can't quit talking about Ben Johnson, please report for the Bears. Enough already.

I would’ve been completely fine with letting PG walk, and elevating Leonard THIS season
@georgecollord76505 сағат бұрын
The fact that Patrick Graham isn’t a head coach is not “criminal”. It simply means that 31 other teams are satisfied with their coaches whom they see as superior to PG. It’s the way private industry works. 😂

Hondo we need to find away to draft this kid jaxson dart. We can't let one of this teams dat need a qb get him and hope he slides to us. I'm not really a fan of QB high in the draft but this time it feels different. I really see something special and dats my gut telling me and my gut is usually on point. So I don't mind taking a risk with this kid
@AlliktenСағат бұрын
I wanted Ben Johnson hearing all the impressive offensive calling but once he signed with the bears I started to think, he was a big risk . He has no HC experience and we were gonna be in a mcdaniels position and we would have to be hoping the learning curve wasn’t that bad and that he doesn’t fail.. Pete carol is tried and proven very few losing seasons in his career.. he’s actually the perfect guy to get. We always seem to get coordinators or not very successful retreads. We’ve never gotten a coach as successful as Carroll.. all the afc west hired successful experienced coaches. So it’s smart that we did the same. We would be the only team with a rookie head coach that has not been there and done that…

I’m not mad at the age. Only concern I have is if we start making progress and getting good are we going to lose Pete to retirement and then start all over again like after Gruden left. He finally was getting us into playoffs and then he was done. So I hope if Pete does well and if he retires we hire from within and not clean house like before

Once you get Tom Brady and Pete Carroll, the Raiders are the new hot team. With adding those two names, now other guys are thinking maybe I want to go to Vegas as well.
@KurtAlbers4 сағат бұрын
Okay Hondo--good summary and "sounds" good. But with all things Raiders--wait and see. The coaching staff looks good on paper--but will it actually deliver results? Are Harbaugh, Reid and Payton losing any sleep at what is taking shape in the desert? Probably not. When the pre-season picks come out, will the Raiders be ranked higher than #4 in the AFC West? Probably not. Is the great Pete Carroll going to add 4 or 5 more wins to get us back to the usual 8-9 or 9-8? We'll find out. As a very long (LONG) time Raider fan, I've learned to temper my expectations. I'll get excited (or not) when I see how the first game is played in September. The only thing that is certain is that Patrick Graham will have the defense ready to rock--that you can take to the bank.

I really wish people would stop pointing out how Brady took less money to help the team like it was a huge sacrifice. He did take less money than he could have. But let’s not pretend he wasn’t making at least $40 million dollars a year on endorsements. And let’s also not forget his wife at the time was easily pulling $100 million a year working as an international supermodel!! Honestly, how many QB’s have wives bringing that much in or have that many endorsement opportunities?
