On the sack of Aidan, Andrus got beat very quickly. Also, Tucker and Bowers ran into each other running their patterns which forced Aidan to hold the ball. The whole play was bad in my humble opinion. Receivers colliding happened on other plays on Saturday and in Chicago last year. This needs to be cleaned up.

They have NO inside info, they claim to know a guy who knows a guy, and put up click bait video titles. I've started narrowing my listening to REAL insiders who go to camp, go to practice, and have first hand access to players, coaches and the facility like Hondo and Q.

Good first outing for the Raiders getting it going. First half is the only thing that matters and Raiders clearly "won" the first half. Thanks for the details Hondo. Glad to see the offense getting it done........Defense will settle in. Should all come together with Dallas this weekend. No reason to be concerned with our QB play. Both can run this offense no problem.

Preseason games. are meant for evaluating the players and the team as whole. You have to remember, even the starters are going to have to get the rust off. I think, it would have been nice to see the back up players, do a bit more to solidify a place on the team.❤

Just from my observation Gardner tends to run out of the pocket when he perceives pressure when it may not even be there. On a few occasions he ran into pressure when if he just stepped up he could have potentially avoided pressure. Can you comment on this?

Gardner Minshews pocket presence and inability to step up in the pocket is very concerning to me. Not to mention the ball placement/accuracy issues and the hospital ball to harrison bryant. I dont understand how all of these so-called "experts" in nfl media came out of that thinking that Minshew won the job.

The dude was running out of clean pockets into pressure and running backward like he thinks he's patrick mahomes. AOC got sacked at the end of the drive once because andrus peat got absolutely destroyed, and he showed good ability to step up into the pocket multiple times on his drive.

I just laughed listening to the commentators. Uncle Hondo told us what the plan was: AOC for one quarter and GM for the second quarter. As noted by everyone, the whole first quarter was eaten up by one long Minnesota drive, followed by the Raiders drive led by AOC. But the commentators played up the fact that GM got more series on the field and equated that to, "well he must be the favored QB#1." How ignorant of them. Things are not always as they appear to the uneducated. That is why I only listen to Uncle Hondo because he is on the field and in the locker room. Hondo has our back!

I know its preseason, but getsy's offense isn't continuing the promise of the very good off-season. aoc 7\9 against starters. Minshew 50% against 2nd and third teamers. Did you see those sailing balls and throwing off the wrong foot?!? Minshew is 6 years in. He is who he is. Aoc has more promise. All we need is a decent game manager. Not bone head throws that give the game away and put the defense in harms way too often.

There were a lot of mistakes made on that play that O’Connell got sacked on. Two receivers ran into each other. Was that a bad play design or did one of the receivers make a mistake? You never wanna take a sack in the red zone but Pete got beat and you throw in a mistake with the two receivers? The fact that Aiden O’Connell didn’t turn the ball over was a plus to me.

I like my QBs stepping up into the pocket. Every sport gives you all options from the middle of the field. Minshew jumps out of the pocket to avoid contact and it’s almost exclusively to the right. He had several chances to climb the pocket and chose not to. We may have lost our TE because NFL defenders can defend half a field with their eyes closed and blew him up. Not a AOC or Minshew accolade just a coach who has watched 55 years of football.

So we have lots of people attending camp saying Gardner is winning, he also had a better game. Minshew isn’t perfect but he’s the better QB as of 1 pre season game. There’s more games let’s see how they play. People need to stop D riding certain ones and let’s hope the Best QB is out there week 1.

Honda you minimized the lack of Maxx and Christian but they played the ENTIRE first quarter and did nothing, including 0 pressures. In fact in the NFL game summary neither had a stat line in a quarter of play. Go back and review the tape.

Not good to see the referees picked up right where they left off with the raiders. Maybe it's a preseason thing, but there was a hold on almost every play that went uncalled. The longer the game went on the more the Minnesota offense knew they could hold a common the more blatant It's hard to judge our secondary when the quarterback is getting extra time created by holding.

No one mebtioning corrections/adjustments will be made & starters back that didnt play week one. Therefore the Offense in whole will better for Minchew than Adian O'Connell.
