Las Vegas Vlog | Part 2 September 2023 | Tim and Matt Travel

Welcome back to our Las Vegas adventure, where we pick up right where we left off on Friday, outside the iconic New York-New York Hotel and Casino. In this instalment, we have more in store for you, from breakfast delights to exploring The Strip.
We begin our Saturday morning bright and early, thanks to that persistent jet lag, heading straight to the casino at 5 am. Our first stop? A delicious breakfast at Side Betty's Grill in Park MGM, where we fuel up for another day of Vegas excitement.
After a satisfying meal, we lingered for a while, soaking in the vibes before our next adventure. Our slot journey continued as we made our way to Aria, where we tried our luck on some more thrilling machines.
Outside The Cosmopolitan, we took a moment to discuss the impact that the Formula 1 construction is having on the city. Sharing our observations from the Strip, we captured the evolving landscape of this ever-changing destination.
Our exploration led us to Bellagio, where we marveled at the exquisite new Autumnal Conservatory Art Installation-a must-see for anyone visiting the city. But our day didn't end there; we ventured over to Horseshoe and Paris Casinos, each offering a unique gaming experience.
As our energy started to wane, we decided to recharge at the MGM Sportsbook & Bar in Park MGM, indulging in a satisfying lunch before taking a much-needed nap.

Hi T&M - OMG, I can never seem to find Diamond Queen machines - do you recall where in Park MGM it was located? Coming from Southern California, we are so lucky that we don't have to deal with jet lag like you "long haulers" have to deal with. The breakfast sandwiches looked great at Betty's - may have to give that a try sometime. We were so hoping you would've hit a hand pay on one of your bonuses - at least a few of them kept you going. They DQ machine were kinda in the middle if I recall - near the rewards desk. They were multi game machines so may not show on screen. Believe me, we were hoping for a handpay too! We got close on the last day though. Awesome that you guys are going this weekend. Where are you staying?

We both loved seeing F1 on strip at launch party when we last visited Vegas in November. Had skip the drone show at end as we had tickets for PBR bullriding 😂😂

I'm staying at Park MGM & NYNY for my trip in November. They're my favourite properties at least for MGM. Park is great if you want to get away from the smoke, and the overall vibe at NYNY is hard to beat.

Ah, good taste! Totally agree Park is great to get away from the smoke. It’s not the most ‘happening’ place but it’s nice to start and end the day without the smoke. NYNY Definitely has its own vibe. And the new rooms were better than we expected

We always go in November but didn't want the mess around F1 or the cleanup. Moved it to the week of October 8th at Vdara but was so concerned it would be a mess, scrapped everything (ended up going to the M and Downtown Grand). Although we had a blast, I wish we would have had your calming words about what was happening in Vegas before we did. Thank you for being so informative. love how you both commentate. As always, love your vlogs. Sorry about the $2 denom bet that drained your TITO. That sucks.

Hey both! Vegas is definitely different because of the F1 and if you drive I can imagine it feeling a lot more chaotic than what we experienced. But, as we were just there a short time, we just ignored what we didn't like - and any Ubers we did get were fine. Having said that, most the roadworks were finished. Let's not talk about that TITO ;)

We were there twice this past summer and the construction was really really bad. We stay at cosmo and uber drivers wouldnt pick us up because of the construction. And anytime we went outside everything smelled like tar terrible. In May we stayed inside the whole trip. Looks like now that the road construction is done its not too bad. Cant wait to go back in January!

Once we had a strategy room at Excalibur of all places, visited on our last day (had just done mobile check in for the resort credit) and were amazed at the view. We almost regretted not staying there at least one of those nights

Exactly our thoughts on that NYNY room! Also, we love checking out other rooms when we can. We usually always have two MGM rooms so we can get those comps used
