We wake up on the Las Vegas Strip in our Wynn Panoramic Corner Suite and get ready for a drive to Laughlin, Nevada. After leaving the Wynn, our first stop is Hash House a Go-Go in Henderson for a very large brunch. Next, we make the drive to Laughlin passing through Searchlight and seeing the famous Terrible’s RoadHouse. After getting into Laughlin, we drive the entire strip and come up with a game plan on which casino’s to visit first. We decide to start at Harrah’s, Laughlin while we wait for check-in at Don Laughlin’s Riverside Hotel and Casino. After exploring and gambling in Harrah’s, we check into our Executive Room in the South Tower of Don Laughlin’s Riverside Hotel and Casino. After check-in, we catch the Colorado River Water Taxi to Bullhead City, Arizona and head straight back to Nevada in approximately 6 minutes. We then make plans to hit each Laughlin casino one by one along the Laughlin River Walk. Throughout the night, we gamble and hang out in the Aquarius Casino Resort, EdgeWater Hotel and Casino, Tropicana Laughlin, Pioneer Hotel and Gambling Hall, Golden Nugget Laughlin and Laughlin River Lodge. We finish the night back at Don Laughlin’s Riverside Hotel and Casino. The next morning we discover Don Laughlin’s Classic Car Museum on the third floor of the hotel and take a short tour. After a quick breakfast and coffee, we have a gamble and hit the road heading back to the Las Vegas Strip.

Yes we agree!! After being in some of the other casinos the Pioneer really changed our whole outlook on Laughlin. Atmosphere in there was great, really good service and people.. what else do you need?! Definitely worth a visit. Thank you for coming along James ❤️

​@@TheCoinShow88 LOL. Laughlin is hotter than Vegas in Summer time. Warm is not a word you'll describe the place; warm is what the water will be out of the tap and occasionally you'll be able to cross the river on top of all the boats and jet skis on the water. Starting in June through September it will not get below 100 Degrees (38 Celsius) at all including at 3 AM. Toasty is a more apt word and perhaps even Death Ray from Space as well. I love Laughlin. I went there before Vegas since my mom used to get free rooms at Colorado Belle and Edgewater. I guess the hotel she worked for at the time had an exchange with some guy who worked for these two hotels for free rooms. The drive from my house in the Phoenix area is about 1 hour shorter than the drive to Vegas. I have made some trips on my own as an adult and like the more laid back atmosphere of Laughlin. Having the river makes a huge difference over wandering the Strip with Las Vegas Blvd or Fremont Street Experience and its booming music, but different people like different things. I would sometimes do a 3 night trip and spend 2 nights in Vegas and 1 to unwind in Laughlin. I have to admit Laughlin on a weekend is fun because you see all the old people just cutting loose and showing you’re never too old to party. I haven’t stayed at Riverside, but I have stayed at Colorado Belle, Edgewater, Aquarius back in the 90s when it was the Flamingo Hilton, Tropicana, and Harrah’s. Next time you’re in Laughlin, if you just want to see a free local attraction, check out the Laughlin Labyrinths. They’re more or less behind Tropicana.

We are in Laughlin like 6 times a year. We love it. Last October we went for my birthday and I won over 3,300 on slots during our 3 day stay at Don Laughlin’s Riverside. Best casino and hotel in Laughlin…. Going again in May can’t wait!

The fam and I use to spend a lot of time in Laughlin...they had 3 casinos (Riverside.Pioneer.Edgewater) Colorado Belle and nugget came later....in the 80s...first time we were there they had a chili cook-off and talent show...it was a very small town with a lot of retirees..

We’d recommend checking it out! It’s a nice day trip if you don’t want to stay and drive back too. Apparently it’s quite lively in the summer months but it was nice walking around with the streets to ourselves. Wish we could’ve experienced water taxing to each casino but we pretty much hit everything we wanted to see. We love a bit of random slots 😆 Thank you for watching Simon! Nicely done guys, as always! Your trip was almost like our trip to Parumph last year. My husband thought the name was funny and thought it would be cool to say we were day. So I said, well, we have a car, let's go! The drive was lovely, we drove through what we consider a "gap" in the mountains and spent an hour and a half to get to this small town that seems to sell fireworks wherever you looked. The casino was a probably the size of a chain restaurant, full of locals. Had a drink, spent $20 on a slot and then turned around and drove the hour and half back. We still get a kick of saying that we've been to Parumph. Always have to try something new, sometimes you score and sometimes you have a memory of a laugh to share. Looking forward to your next episode.

Kidding, it’s always nice to experience new places even if it’s not what you’re hoping for 😅 Laughlin was a pretty cool little town, if we were to go back it would be in the summer when it’s a little more lively. Sounds like Pahrump was very quiet! We went to Rachel Nevada on one of our first trips and that place was crazyyyyy but so quiet, we stayed for 40 mins and took the 2 hour drive back to Vegas 😆

The one with the computer desk chairs made me laugh! Definitely a low rollers paradise. That live band at the Pioneer was on point though! Very funky music selections! The riverfront rooms at the pioneer are very eclectic....Victorian decor. It's actually pretty cool. The pioneer also still has the coin slot machines. Oh and the Pioneer has the best breakfast place in Laughlin....Bumbleberry Flats!!! fyi...the Tropicana is a caesars owned property!

Loved watching this video. We started going to Laughlin in the 90's. It was really hopping back then. Summer time we would take the kids and play along the river. My sister had a boat and we we water ski up the river in Lake Mohave and we go up to the dam. We still go and now rent the ski jets. It's fun but doesn't get the crowds like they use to. After the crash in 2007? Laughlin visitors really slowed down. It hurt all the casinos and they struggled for years. Colorado Bell end up closing their upstairs, the Laughlin River Lodge was the River Palms, which the Tropicana (no connection to the Vegas Tropicana) bought and tried to bring it back to life. The Pioneer was also sold, they just wasn't getting the revenue to upgrade their rooms or casino. Sad to see what was considered a "Boom Town" in the early 90's now a ghost town during the week. Weekends still gets quite a bit of visitors but nothing like before. I love Las Vegas but Laughlin was always like my second home. Laughlin has a more relax feeling about it where Vegas has a high energy vibe.

Oh wow that’s some crazy history, we didn’t know anything about Laughlin before going but we’re learning more and more from everyone who has been there many times. We had a pretty good experience in Laughlin! The streets were dead but we blamed that on the winter. Some of the casinos lacked atmosphere but Aquarius, Pioneer and Laughlin River Lodge made up for what the others lacked. Inside all of the casinos it was pretty busy, I think if we were to go back we’d go in the summer so we can experience the river properly. Zooming down to the dam would be very cool and we heard the original London bridge is up there too! The more we hear about the place the more we’d like to go back. Maybe have a dinner at steakhouse.. get some jet skis and visit the London bridge 😆 apparently we missed a casino too, called Regency. As always a really good video! I had to laugh at the water taxi's. My parents lived in Bullhead city for a few years back in the 90's. And I remember visiting them with one of my sisters and jumping on a water taxi for the first time. That water taxi must of went from 0 to 100 miles an hour in 1.2 seconds and we laughed so hard thinking damn that are sure in a hurry to get you over to the casinos to loose your money. Of course which we did. Good memories thanks you :)

Regarding the River Lodge points system you inquired about 1) Points never expire 2) As you accumulate reward points you can transfer them for free play, important detail and one of the coolest things about this is there is no minimum to do so. 3)The signs on the machines indicate a multiplier for your point earning. Some machines will provide as much as 100x 4) Random bonus points are also given up to 5k points 5) You only need one card/reward account for the entire place As a local player in Laughlin I would have to say that this casino is my favorite to play at. Machines pay very liberally, and the food inside Dottys is so tasty!!

Terrific fun as always. Thanks so much for recording it all and taking us along with you! Seeing as you love the rare games, I've got three for you at Encore on the next trip. First up is Woodland Whisper, which I wrote about before. 100% my favourite machine in all of Vegas. Konami, very old school, absolute feast or famine, so be ready! If it hits, it can HIT. I've had 3 big handpays on it, one for $3000 on a $6 bet. Amazing machine, give it a shot before it goes. Never seen that one anywhere else. The second one is Desert Inn, pretty sure it's one they kept from the old Desert Inn before it was demolished. Must be ancient by slot machine standards. It's a very old school, reel-based machine. I don't think it even has a bonus feature, although I'm not certain. I would just try a few spins for the experience. No bells and whistles on that one. The last one is Phoenix Gold, another super old school reel-based machine. Terrific fun if you can hit the feature. Whatever you play, and wherever you guys are when you read this, I hope you're doing really well and taking care of each other. Our service was ok at hash house a go go and the price was great for the size of the meals but it wasn’t anything special 🍳(maybe the location we chose) Laughlin was a really good day trip but I think I’ll struggle to get Cailey to go back 😆😆 we are back at the Wynn for our last two days and we get pretty fancy, I won’t spoil anything but we had one of our best days 😉 PBR is my go to beer, nice easy all day drinker 😂 Thanks for the support as always Christine!

Interesting insight into Laughlin guys! It feels so weird to have a mini Vegas within driving distance of the real thing but it's busy and I'd imagine much more cost efficiency and probably no resort fees too!

Hi J&C - Hash House has good food, like a diner but huge portions. Curtis & I are going to be in Laughlin for President's day weekend. Not sure if you were aware, but from your balcony, you can look across the river and see the Bullhead City airport. Not much activity happens there, but they do get a couple Sun Country 737's there. We love the Aquarius, they have very nice suites that give a great river view. Enjoy the cooler temps this time of year as we were there for our anniversary this past July and it hit 117 degrees! Muy Caliente!!!! 🔥🔥🔥 There is also other wildlife to be seen there - I've seen ducks, racoons, skunks and beavers. You hit all but one casino in Laughlin, there is a very small one between Aquarius and Edgewater called Regency - it's very small and it's been there forever. Thanks for taking us along for your trip, excellent vlog as always. Hugs to you both!!!! 😎❤🎰

Hey Kevin and Curtis! We’ve heard lots of different tips about Laughlin after we uploaded this video so we’d definitely do a few thing different if we were to go again. I think we’d go in the summer when everything is up and running, we’d also get some nice dinner somewhere instead of a quick subway 😆 The Aquarius was one of our favorite casinos there and if we were to visit again we’d look into staying there for sure. Our room wasn’t too bad at Don Laughlin’s but not sure if I’d get Cailey to stay there again! Aquarius was pretty packed but clean and everyone appeared to be having a good time! Some of the casinos lacked atmosphere but Aquarius, Pioneer and Laughlin River Lodge were all pretty lively. We did go in winter though a few days before Christmas so we’ll give the other places the benefit of the doubt 😅 I don’t think we could do 117 degrees there that is intense!! Someone else commented that we missed a casino!! It must’ve been that one, we didn’t even see it, it must be tiny.. well just means we’ll have to go back! 😎 Thank you for the love as always guys, maybe you can show us around Laughlin properly one day 🤩🎰

I went to Laughlin once overnight on the way to Vegas. It's funny that there are so many people who love Laughlin and others like myself that once is enough. Beautiful scenery though in and around Laughlin . That was a great tour you took us on. I love and am thankful for the long videos and can't wait for next Friday.

Hi Esmeralda, we don’t have any plans to do a Q&A although never say never. To answer your questions: -we bring $350 a day each in an envelope for that day, we also have an empty ‘winnings’ envelope that we save all substantial wins in. We never touch the winnings envelope and count to see who has more the end of the trip. - budget for the trip is $350 a day each for gambling. We try to use comps for hotels and credit card point for flights. We don’t budget for food and drinks but we put all of those purchases on a credit card to gain points (for flights) and pay it when we get home with our savings. Some days we spend over $500 and other days under $100 for food, for drinks we either have $20 cocktails all day or we drink for ‘free’ on the casino floor so we don’t like to stick to a daily amount. - TITO stands for ticket in ticket out. We heard a casino employee say call the ticket that once and it stuck 😆 - about us… we are pretty boring outside of Vegas we just work to save for trips so that segment of a video would be very short 😂 Thank you for watching and have a great time in March! 🤩🎰 Wishing you all the hand pays!

Great vlog as usual! Just as a bit of info to correct the taxi driver, some of the rooms in Harrahs Laughlin are remodeled, Lisa and I stayed in one. The non remodeled rooms they are pretty grim we read!! If we went again we'd stay cental next time, Harrahs is the opposite of it's Vegas sister and at the far end of everything.

Interesting video and you did great! There is so much you just don't know, the town was incredible 30 years ago. You missed the most important place in Laughlin, IN-N-OUT Burger. And they put you in the wrong room, the Executive Suite at the end of the hall has two balconies, is bigger, and what you would of wanted

What’s up Bobby? Thanks for the compliment and the feedback. We use the iPhone 13ProMax for everything. We did upgrade to the iPhone 14 ProMax for a test run, but Apple needs to work out the sound issues, the microphone is smaller and the sound sucks. It’s amazing what these phones can do nowadays. We film in 4K HDR to get it extra crispy. The down side of doing that is larger file sizes and it can take 3-4 times longer to upload.

As usual a great video. Im Glad you took a trip to Laughlin, wife and I have been talking about taking a ride out there for a daytime trip. So maybe during our June Vegas trip, we drive out there during the day. I want to bring the car show guy a patch Im sure he doesnt have to add to his collection. We would probably just hit a couple casinos, grab some lunch, then drive back to Vegas before dinner. I love hash house a gogo, the servings are huge, the peach ice tea is the best Ive ever had anywhere. Next time try their version of eggs benedict, 2 sage chicken breasts on top of scrambled eggs, on top of a huge bicuit, covered in a chipoltle gravy. Theres one in the plaza and one at the link.

Welcome back slowrollout! The guy in the car museum was awesome, we could’ve chatted to him all day long. Every car had a story and was kept in pristine condition, he was just starting new displays for patches so I’m sure he’d appreciate an addition 🤩 We would recommend Laughlin for exactly that! Staying the night was more convenient for us because we wanted to have a few drinks but it would be perfect just to drive down early and hit each casino. It’s funny you say order that way at hash house a go go. Our favorite parts of our breakfasts were the biscuit, the chicken and the eggs 😆 waffles and corn beef was average. Hi Kimberly, thank you for watching! We honestly went into Laughlin pretty blind, we thought the room looked good online and the balcony was a big plus. We’ve since heard the Aquarius has some good rooms, Tropicana and Harrah’s too. We chose not to stay at harrahs as it’s a little bit too far of a walk. We were looking for something a bit newer or renovated and Don Laughlin’s looked better out of the 3 options, we also liked the fact that it’s still family owned. It was all we needed for one night, not sure I could get Cailey to stay there again though 😆😆

Laughlin was a good day trip, we’d maybe consider doing it again in the summer months apparently it’s quite lively, not sure if I’ll be able to get Cailey to stay the night again though 😆😆 Thanks for coming along!

Cailey, I think you need to give Laughlin a 2nd try in May when the weather is perfect 90degrees and at night it’s 75 degrees. The weekends are more alive and more fun. The restaurants are good but no 4 star restaurants(sorry) The Riverside is NOT my 1st choice to say. But the Tropicana is really good place to stay. Either way I loved the video. 😊

Hi Yolanda! I think the issue was getting Cailey to stay there when we had the Wynn room 😆 she just didn’t want to leave that place. We both had a great time in Laughlin overall, we’ve heard a lot of good things about the summer in Laughlin. The boat rides would be awesome! Interesting, we’ve had a few people say the Tropicana is the place to stay.. if I can convince Cailey to give it another try we’ll have to stay there 😂 Thank you for watching!

I never been to Laughlin,it’s just like Reno casino is far on each other, wanting to see it before,but never mind, it’s worse than Macau at least in Macau there’s a shuttle casino to casino Wi-Fi on the shuttle.Cailey didn’t like it either,thanks for sharing The river is okey but shallow spring probably best time to go to Laughlin.Nice blog though take care you two see you in bit.

Hash House is cool, but how can a breakfast place not have omelets on the menu?! Goat Island, lol. No Subway review?! :) That bar in Pioneer looked like so fun! Laughlin River Lodge Casino looks really cool, lost of old school games and VP, cozy vibe, and great tunes! Can I ask what night of the week this was? I would never have considered staying or visiting Laughlin but after seeing how pretty it is there I might have to! Thank you!

Wow didn’t notice that until now! The menu was so crazy in that place. Goat island was a surprise 😆 Pioneer was great and we wish we could’ve stayed in Laughlin River Lodge for longer but they said no filming our slot play so we left, wouldn’t want to hit the grand jackpot without sharing it with our friends! Laughlin was worth a visit for sure, apparently summer months are a bit more lively but we like the quiet times! This was a Friday night. Thank you for the support as always 😎🎰
