It doesn't have a handbrake. How does this compare to the Xootr?

I can't lift the red part at all

Put the scooter up on a counter for leverage. Use a thick metal retractable writing pen, that you don't mind getting scratched, a little. Use the writing end but make sure the ink tip is retracted inside the pen. Push up hard on the red part with the pen while folding the front bar of the scooter down. I tried for MONTHS, and couldn't fold it until I just tried this method and it worked!

Of course, make sure that little side lever beside the red part is open, first.

I figured it out. There was a safety plastic that is for hardware safety. I was able to pull it off. Took a bit to figure it out . Thank you ✨

If you still have that problem why don't you try putting it in your lap and then pulling the part that says lascoota by the handles up and then press the trigger thing
