Laser bed OUT of Level!!

Hey guys, just showing how I levelled the bed on my laser machine I were getting inconsistent cuts across the work area this is just a quick fix to check that it was indeed the problem good thing to look at if your experiencing the same!

My locknut wrenches have yet to break free the red loctite on the adjustable z axis risers. Thanks for that, whoever decided I better undo the whole d$&) Z screw to adjust it.

Does it matter? I have seen some diode lasers on the wall .

Yeh it does if the bed is not level then when you set your focal distance that will change over the span of the cut causing thicker lines and also not cutting all the way through material in some places 👍🏽 thanks for watching, Matt

Hey mate, I got the 80W version. Did you figure out how to adjust the screw jacks to level the bed?

Hey mate, nah I didn’t need to all I ended up doing was using some 1-2mm metal angle brackets and just slit them between the honeycomb bed and the actual bed frame and that worked a treat it was ok in the top left corner but from the centre to the lower right needed some packing up with the metal brackets, cheers Matt
