Phil, you crack me up. I'm watchin' you and keepin' up my side of the conversation as per usual. You mentioned metric stuff and said you weren't taught that; I agreed. Then you were reading and explaining about the distance vs the machine... and I was tryin' to follow you...and I wanted to help, but you didn't want it....oy....and ...then...you...said... 'don't laugh at me' ...and that's where I started laughing....and kept laughing....I wasn't even thinking about laughing until you said that I swear to Pete. Well Phil I don't know if anybody else did but you and I had fun. Yeah I'd like to see you using that on something on the lathe that'll be great. Aille aille aille ! Patrick

WOW!!!!! Phil, I'm also an inch guy and it's because I am a proud American. I fess up that I do have my set of metric tools so I can work on everything that's made in other than the US these days. I saved my coffee table and two end tables, and all three pieces look great now. Be careful with the modern technology Phil, soon there will be a machine that you throw a hunk of wood under the device, and it lathes and turns whatever you can dream up. Then what good are we then, as we become old and, in the way, replaced by a machine. About the only thing that is saving us now is the fact that we are so dang good looking.

Phil, that was so useful! I always thought engravers like that were better suited for larger budgets than mine or for a production business. This had me interested even before you brought out the rollers. Your experiences live are much more revealing and helpful than a scripted review. Good job working out the metric. It's a great system but I'm fully aware of the unique benefits of each system. My father is your age. In his shops, and those of friends and relatives, I learned Imperial. I was in the class of the second year metric became standard curriculum in Canada, so I had the benefits of both systems. I'll admit that I alternate between them, quite a bit. Now, gotta go look at more info on this LaserPecker.

Yes, yes you do, Doreen! All of a sudden, everything looks like it needs your name on it! LOL! You can even run it off a battery that they have. Take it to the park, autograph the benches! Hahaha!

Wow this is really cool! I got a shampoo CNC machine to play with a rear ago and had just found out they had a laser attachment for it. This thing though seems a lot easier. Thanks a lot for showing us this new toy!

🙋♂️🏴 Hi Phil you and I are the same age and I also have trouble with metric sizes can't picture what 10 cm is I know what 4 inches is. Now I understand why you kept us in suspense with your signature last week but we'll worth it. I'm glad that you embrace new technology I love it . Really useful laser printer pity I didn't have one to burn my name in my tools my daughter has borrowed most of mine ha ha. Cheers Phil.
