It's about time someone decided/chose to sponsor you! You absolutely deserve it, for everything you put into these videos,plus all the knowledge you have on the things you speak of have actually helped me out a time or two, I know others appreciate it also.

Well thanks! Just so you know though I wouldn’t advertise for them if I didn’t use and believe there products were good. My John Deere and one of my old NH tractors were tuned by them and it’s been great.

The broom attachment is nice. Ive used them before. They make light work out of a mess that would require scraping with a shovel like mud and dirt on a driveway, road or sidewalk.. up in the northern states people use them to "fling" the stones out of their yard after plowing season. Its quick and easy. Sure beats raking. Heck im pretty sure you could use it to broom a light snow off walk ways as well.

@Dennis my cocker spaniel does the same thing. My vet recommends Zyrtec. Once a day and so far it's worked. They can also do this when they smell chemicals their body is trying to expel it.

The Stihl "power broom" is the one with the rubber flapper paddles and it very useful, especially for getting stones and mulch out of grass. The "power sweep" is the same attachment with the bristle brush drums installed. I have those too, but I have found very little real use for them and they require a significant amount more of power to run than the rubber drums.
@DLHFarms2 жыл бұрын
Ok I wondered which one would be better
@404nitro2 жыл бұрын
@@DLHFarms Definitely the rubber paddles.

Have had the kombi system for several years (have the prior generation KM130 power head). The string trimmer and blower are what I've used the most, though the pole saw is also extremely handy (with or without the extension). The multi-angle hedge trimmer on the other hand gets a bit front heavy for long usage periods ..and is almost better used as a light-use powered scythe in my opinion. Have been considering getting the new KM131 powerhead - or their battery-powered head since I'm more frequently having to do a lot of start/stop and short runtime operations. Especially since the kombi leaf blower taught just me how useful leaf blowers can be. For me they've pretty much replaced using brooms in sheds or outdoors, and they make quick work of cleaning loose dirt, gravel, grass and small sticks off of equipment. Enough so that I several years ago I bought a Makita cordless handheld leaf blower just for cleaning equipment off since I'd already had a fair number of other Makita cordless tools & batteries. So yeah I'm looking forward to seeing how you use the kombi system.... see if I can pick up any new tricks I can use myself ;)
@DLHFarms2 жыл бұрын
Yes it’s a wonderful tool. I think I would get the battery one for the stop start jobs your talking about.
@joshuapreusser22652 жыл бұрын
@@DLHFarms Yeah, I figure the electric ones are also easier/safer to carry on the tractor with me. Saves a bit of time carrying one on the tractor as it's simple enough to park the tractor/mower to trim around mailboxes & sign posts vs. walking back over ground I've already driven over once (or more).

There seem to be a heck of a lot of green tractors at your place these days Dennis. I am really worried that you might take them out into the hay fields later in the year and then your drone will not be able to find green tractors in green fields. Anyway maybe those tractors are best suited to work inside and in close proximity to a workshop !

Haha! Don’t worry I’m not turning all green I got something coming soon that’s not green.

OMG so weird, I just bought a broom for my kombi head TODAY!! I was at the Deere dealer pricing a 5115M and I always ask if they have a broom in stock, (they have been out of stock for almost a year) and today they dealer I was at had one that didn't have a drive shaft in it, but took a shaft out of something else and sold it to me. I want it to broom all the rock I snow plow off my driveway into the grass. LOL
@DLHFarms2 жыл бұрын
Haha guess it was your lucky day! I just priced a 5115M also with the options I wanted it was $110,000 for a 5M I wasn’t happy that’s ridiculous.
@Badgermatt-nc5nr2 жыл бұрын
@@DLHFarms yep, mine quoted around $108!! Only thing enticing is that they give you free money for 60 months but still not happening! It’s ridiculous, exact same tractor 3 years old with 1000 hours is going for $80-90. Prices are just nuts. We just need a second tractor for the bale grapple.
