Yes, gums should never bleed. So brushing with baking soda, salt and hydrogen peroxide get rid of bleeding gums over time. Watch Dr Bonner Mark’s oral health protocol. Hope it helps

Dr Nemeth, 1) what laser treatment did you use on the gentleman above ? Was it LANAP or Bioloase or Pin Hole ? I have receding gum on 8 of my lower front teeth with some teeth almost reaching the roots. But I live in Australia. (I had watched a few of your videos on youtube on LANAP , Bioloase and Pin Hole and all seems to generate bone eventually .) and I am not too sure what periodontist should I seek to help with my treatment ? One with LANAP ? or One with Bioloase ? or One with Pin Hole ? because it is impossible to find a periodontist that has all 3 types of treatment options for severe receding gum and bone regeneration .Would greatly appreciate your advice / guidance what the 3 different treatments are being used so I can find help for my case. 2) Also, which laser is best or able to generate bone density mass (perhaps together with bone graft) into the area under a root canal treated tooth ? I have a very old bridge of 2 teeth , both with root canal treatment. One of which has sustained quite a bit of bone lost. Is it possible to use laser (perhaps with bone graft) to increase the bone density and then have the bridge replaced with 2 separate crowns instead of replacing them with implants .I would prefer to have my own teeth, but is that a viable option ? If yes, should I seek for LANAP or Biolase laser dentist to carry out the job ? Thank you.

I underwent LANAP with Periolase MVP-7 in Europe due to recession behind my lower front teeth, which didn't improve with regular cleaning. And my periodontal disease was just gum recession with no blood when brushing or puss coming out. I also don't have caries or bridges, implants etc. After LANAP, the recession halted, but I didn't experience any bone growth even after more than a year. However, results can vary from case to case. My doctor did not recommend the pinhole procedure after LANAP, as it is mainly cosmetic, and without the periodontal wall, gums might recede again over time. The only benefit of the pinhole procedure might be for extreme sensitivity, which I don't have, even with exposed roots. The full-mouth LANAP procedure took about two hours with a break in between. I had to eat soft foods for three months post-procedure and was advised never to pull food with my front teeth (e.g., burgers or pizza) to avoid destabilizing the rebuilt bone. Good oral hygiene, including brushing twice daily and flossing, is crucial to prevent tartar buildup, which can get under the gums. Biolase and other lasers are just for cutting tissue or doing regular gum infection but does not have the wavelengts of Periolase, aka to eliminate the bacteria under the gums and not on just the surface. Periolase is the only laser in the world specifically made for gum disease and FDA approved. Same laser Dr Nemeth uses. This laser is not available to purchase, the practitioner get the laser once the LANAP certification is finalized and only in US at Millenium center. Other practitioners that do LANAP with other lasers are just scams. It might feel better at first but after a while the tooth will become mobile and then will require extraction because the underlying infection was not treated. A simple laser or it's wavelength can't perform deep penetration under the gum at the infection area. In summary, LANAP helped stop the infection from spreading to other teeth or the whole mouth, and it was a better alternative than wait for infection to spread and having my teeth removed and use an implant or multiple. And yes such procedure it's very expensive, especially if you need to travel abroad. Although few doctors perform true LANAP with Periolase in Europe, more are appearing, and I'm sure there are qualified doctors in Australia as well. Search for Millenium LANAP to learn more or email them to check for a doctor that's close to your region. I hope this helps.

@@filipvictor2009 Can you give a ballpark figure how much it costs you to do LANAP for the whole mouth ? There is nothing on the clinic website that provide LANAP, and just to get a bit of information about it will set be back by $400 + with nothing being done ! by the 2 clinics here in Melbourne. One clinic in Singapore is charging under S$200 for teleconsultation. Thank you

Dr. Nemeth, I am wondering why you don't have any videos on xylitol??
@zachariah19904 ай бұрын
It does work but there’s also some negative health effects from xylitol that have come out recently. It’s best to use it only as a mouthwash according to my dentist.

They normally won’t become bad if your diet is correct. The issue is our diet is bad these days.
