Because on our OJT , our trainer say " bracket must mount on shaft not on coupling . U know why ?

@@trandung8109 Yes if fix the bracket on the shaft, you will get the exact value. But most of the case we dont have suffient space on the shaft location. In this pump side also having some restriction due bearing house cooling fan guard. Moreover you should involve coupling diameter as major dimension for laser alignment. If you have suffient space. then you can fix your bracket on the shaft. Really good observation. Thanks ❤ All the best bro....🙏
