Nice show! At first I was 'meh, reflecting a laser from below his feet with mirrors on his hands, big fuckin deal'....until he started that lightsaber trick spinning the beams from his hands. I'd like to know how they pulled that one off, no way were laser diodes of that intensity strapped to his arms, they would have shown. The rest of it was just well timed choreography, but that one bit (I wish he had done more of it) was amazing.

+Jurrasic Park I know! it's really amazing! but if you like frame by frame, you can see that the laser's base is his hand and because the only other source of light was the base of his platform, I think there is no other way than the laser being coming from his hand, however, the whole device could be in his arm and then, a simple mirror, but it is truly amazing from the engineers to pull this off :p

I dont think most people understand what an amazing part that was. I was thinking the same thing, really impressed with the mirror-glove reflecting work Then at 1:40 ... WTF? How is the laser being SOURCED from the gloves? Maybe its not as impressive as we think and each hand just has 2 cat toys superglued together. Sometimes magic is that simple. Glad to see someone else is as geeky about that stuff as me.

Dude... outside my apartment at 8 in the morning, there was some sort of small marathon event & only about 10 women total on the sides screaming/cheering like this for over 2 hours. By the end of it they sounded like they were dying... but the WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHH WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHH WOOOOOOOOOOOOH drives me up the walls.

I remember when a friend showed this to me and two other people. And we were like "what the hell is this crap? this wasn't done for the movie release. This was the Laser Man show at "elecTRONica" a TRON Legacy themed dance party attraction at Disney California Adventure that was set up several months **after** the release of Tron Legacy.

As a laser show, it's pretty neat. The Tron connection is basically non-existent, though, except the one mention of users and programs in the lead-in and the flashing Tron name at the end. If they're going to use the Tron name, it ought to be more connected to Tron.

The only way I can think of him being able to do 360 degree spinning of the laser light is he has light emitters in his gloves that they turn on during that part. they emit from 2 places on each side of his had. also this might be how hes doing part of the bending is with these same emitters in his gloves.
