LaserPecker LP5 Dual Laser (BRAND NEW!) - Setup, Testing, & Honest Review

In this video I'll be trying out the newest LaserPecker LP5 dual laser engraver. This portable and lightweight engraver features both a 20W blue diode laser along with a 20W fiber laser. With this new laser design, you are able to engrave just about any material available with both speed and accuracy without having to switch modules or lenses. This machine has a small footprint in size making it easily portable along with saving space. The LP5 can also be used on mac, pc or even the LaserPecker app which is wifi compatible. Great review. I ordered an LP5 this morning with the air purifier etc. I already have an Xtool 20w Pro but this seems to be more versatile and the software lloks decent enough. Bob in the UK.

Hey everyone, if you’re looking for a laser that’s compact, powerful, and capable of engraving on everything, I would definitely recommend looking into the LP5. The Air purifier as well is amazing and left virtually no smoke in my house without needing to vent the exhaust. Enjoy and I’ll see you all in the one.

Does the exhaust work when engraving rotary? How long to engrave glass do you think? Also do you have to have your computer hooked up to the laser or will it use wifi? Thanks

Engrave a square template with smaller and smaller circles on it to center your circular/round items.

Comparing the laserpecker LP5 to the xTool F1 ultra, what are the differences and which one do you prefer ?

As a LP4 owner I have to say that the Laserpecker Hardware isn't bad. It's mostly the software that annoys me. It's buggy and lags a lot of functions for allday produvtive use. Even worse: Their Android and Windows software each provide different functions. Some you only find in the Android version, others are only found on the Windows version. Sadly updates and improvements are very rare.

Great review! I've been keeping my eye on these, although I see their pre-orders for UK now won't be here until around September - October. Quick question. LP4 was advertised as compatible with Lightburn (it wasn't and took a lot of fiddling to get working). Does this one have better compatibility?

@@phillipallen1 I’m not sure as I haven’t tried it yet with lightburn but I would assume just like the LP4 it would work but might be difficult to get setup initially.

Очень, очень медленный лазер, эта фирма делает очень медленный лазер, чтобы что-то на нём сделать надо полдня потратить. Это только на видео скорость увеличивают, и, кажется, всё так здорово, когда начинаешь работать на лазере этой фирмы. Оказывается, всё не так всё очень-очень медленно. Для поделок, для дома пойдёт, для бизнеса нет. 100%нет
