@@LostArtistryLash you’re welcome! As a beginner lash artist, I pray that I can get to this level. I’m super nervous but taking baby steps and getting the foundation of lashes first

@@destinyloftin553 You will absolutely reach this level! There is no doubt in my mind, The secret is to learn, learn learn, practice practice, practice, celebrate the small wins and view the failures as learning and never be afraid to try new styles! The rest will fall into place on its own

Thank you for this tutorial!🤍 How do you( or would you) do a fill-in for this set, if you’re mixing 3-6D fans? I feel like if I’m mixing it when doing a full set I can’t possibly know where exactly I placed those last time.
@LostArtistryLash Жыл бұрын
This is a great question 😍 You actually dont have to worry too much about placing the same dimension in the same spot as last time, because the lashes will be at a different stage of the growth cycle! For example, lets say you place a 6D fan on a strong natural lash. When your client comes in for their fill, that strong natural lash likely has shed and began regrowth, meaning it is now in the baby stage and will require a lighter dimension (such as 3D) The nice thing about mixing dimensions is that they all blend together beautifully, so even when you switch up your dimensions at each fill, the set will still look awesome ❤ I hope this helps answer your q! So glad to hear you enjoyed this tutorial!

I was so so excited watching this video...like I wanted to stop midway and jump off to go replicate these lessons on a client. Please Kaitlyn, will it be too much to ask for pictorial mapping templates for the different eye looks (i.e. squirrel, open eye, cat eye, natural look)? Especially when it comes to using different curls? I find that I am more inclined to less curl in the inner corners, but that of course is subject to the clients eye shape. Thank you for these AMAZING videos.❤️

Firstly, thank you soooo much for the kind words. Your comment seriously motivates me to keep the education coming! You have to watch our Mapping 101 video! It’s detailed on exactly what you’re looking for❤️ Less curls are often my go to for the inner corners also! m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/qp_dZXmkoK57jpY For further eye shape, styling and mapping knowledge- you would LOVE our styling mini courses. It’s so inexpensive, all online and crazy detailed!

What do you use to remove the marking when you’re done

I use a micro swab applicator and put a little Sensi or lash bath on it and use the applicator to remove them. It comes off super easy! lostartistrylash.com/products/sensi-bath-cleanser?_pos=6&_sid=51453e844&_ss=r

I have makeup remover on hand - eyelids tend to be slightly oily so sometimes you can even just rub off the marker with a little q-tip :)

What’s the difference between this and cat eye?
@LostArtistryLash2 жыл бұрын
Squirrel eye mapping looks like a cat eye but the longest length doesn’t actually sit on the outer corner because most eye shapes simply do not compliment this. Here is a tutorial you will like that explains this in detail :) m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/qp_dZXmkoK57jpY
